I don't know how i overlooked this. Pretty impressive, i thought manipulating too many crystals was impossible, but you prooved me wrong.
Hows the progress on this? That WIP was on January so i guess its a little more advanced at least.
I made a comparison video between the new "All Stages" TAS and the old one Mothrayas made.

I posted it because i think it's a good resource to take in mind future comparisons. Cheers!
Well, i was planning on moving the run to BizHawk by hex editting it, if that's possible, if it is, it will take too much hex editting, depending if BizHawk is more or less laggy. However, this doesnt mean that either me or FractalFusion will work on it afterwards.
You can't change weapons while the ice is out there. When X shoots the Ice block, some small ice blocks move horizontally towards the door. And i can't also change between doors because changing weapons it's locked while the doors are closing.
Ok guys, i think its time to give an update about this submition. I already beated Gate so now i have to work on the final stage. So this submition will be resumed soon.
About stats: Im 6166 frames (01:42.77) ahead of Mothrayas "All Stages" TAS. And im also 3020 franes (00:50.33) ahead of this submition.
So, after redoing Scaravich stage, i realised this trick saves 3000+ frames, it is totally worthy. I will see how friendly hex editting is to see if the other stages can be merged or have to be redone aswell. For the time being, i would like a judge to set the status of this submittion to "Decision Delayed" if it is possible. Since making canceling this to make another one isn't worthy in my opinion because it won't take that much time.
The first stage and half of the second stage input was from the Any% TAS made by me and Fractal, but that input was made by me, Fractal inputted other stages
100% TAS uses X a lot more than this run, an "All Stages" TAS is forced to always use Zero after unlocking him. 100% TAS also goes to 7 of the 8 stages twice to get everything from them.
I made this comparison video for fun, it compares X with Blade Armor vs Zero on a of the second area of magma area, going for 100%. For more info look at the description.

So, i finaly beated Nightmare Mother.
So far saving 2102 frames (00:35.03 seconds). I have no idea when i will finish this TAS since im not that much interested tbh. But i will finish it.......someday.
Thanks mtvf1 for making such a helpful encode. I know it's a little bit late, but i will answer some questions now:
I don't think J has more enemies than U. From what i understanded when i made the run, the enemies drop behavior depends on who you kill and when. You would need to test every possibility to optimize this. Im not sure if my run through the elevator is optimal though.
In my case Zero ends up being far from the door because i touched the door while dashing, McBobX jumps and then touching the door and the floor in the same frame. Zero's hitbox is more wide while dashing. MxBobX's method (wich Hellagels also used) is faster than just dashing (i didn't knew this when i made the run).
I think this all can be done on the (U) version, and personally, i don't think that the (J) version differs from (U) on luck manipulation. To be 100% sure i would need the RNG adresses, wich i don't have.
After watching it, i think this run is faster than mine (ignoring text), it has better execution and movement strategies on some stages. In the other hand, i think some parts can be faster.
The mini boss of Mantisk could be better, making it die on the right side of the camera instead of left, this manipulation could be done by wall-jumping on the falling floor part.
I also think that Kelverian boss fight could be faster, i think my strategy is faster than yours, though, i can clearly see you made this because you couldn't get better luck.
Im a bit confused about going to the fourth room and then third on Biblio's stage, you still managed to beat him on the second round. You did that just to use saber thrust?
I also noticed that you watched my TAS carefuly to make yours, thanks for making such a great run. I still want to know how much time you saved ignoring text though. When i get the time i will watch your other run.
I haven't watched the TAS yet, but i would like to add that if you are going to redo this, or make any other TAS, post your work on the forums, so someone can tell you about simple errors or mistakes like the stated above.
