That's probably the most asked question I get, but sadly the answer is usually no. Neither I nor anybody I know has a capture card able to convert our VHSs into digital format. There was one guy who did it for a while, but he hasn't been seen lately. O_o Since we recognize the chances of our vids getting converted into digital format is slim, we've gotten lax in recording too. We used to record every game that was played on the "Big screen" (most of the highlight matches, the ones we knew were usually really exciting to watch) and now it's rare we even record the finals. I'll put in a word about it before the next tournament comes up (I think it's like the 26th or so, two Saturdays from today) and see if I can't at least get something put on tape. You probably would find my style somewhat boring to watch anyway. I'm a clever player, not a flashy one. Lots of spacing, understanding of priority, and mind games. If you want to see excitement, you should watch a couple of our Foxes play. Jesus Christ they're scary (and by far the most exciting).

The one who beat Ken in the winners bracket at TG? And the one who challenged (and defeated) Mike G in a money match? The very same. Hi! I used to debate tournament rulesets in SWF with Deezie and a lot of the oldschool "backroomers" way back when. Eventually the game started to settle down though and there didn't seem as much reason for me to spend as much time there (which is why I so seldom post there anymore). SKYPAL still has monthly tournaments though in Washington, and a lot of our other community members go off for OOS tournies. Kei/Takagi for instance just got 3rd in some big MLG, and next week a bunch of the others are going down to Portland for a tournament there. Anyway, like I said, it's been a while since I've frequented SWF. I recognize your name, but not your voice (what you might say is analagous to being able to place a name with a face).

I'm getting a 404 error on the link to TODO posts, but I'll hunt around and see if I can't find some anyway. Edit: sorry, link works now. I didn't notice the stray characters.

I know I just made my first post not but a minute ago, but I wanted to reiterate here what I said in my introduction in the off-topic forum. I've been a--... we'll call it a 'viewer' for a while now, but I'd love to become more involved if you'd let me. More to the topic on hand, Kyrsimys made a comment that you need more active editors. I feel this is a roll I could fill well. I understand that, being a new poster and not having any posts or history to back myself up, you have no reason to trust me, but I wanted to state this now as something to keep in mind.

Hi. Okay, I give. I wanted to say a bit more than that. Long time observer, first time poster, I've recently decided to become more involved with the site in any way I can. I figure the first step is registering for the forums and introducing myself. I love what you guys are doing and though it's unlikely I'll do a run anytime soon myself (time constraints, mostly) I'd love to offer my services in any way possible, be they just another psuedointellectual opinion on things, another seed for all the torrents on the site, or just offering supportive words. So keep it up, and I'll be seeing you around! ~Sastopher
