The Ghost on the Window - Mystery Picture On this picture should be a ghost somewhere. You can even hear him whispering if you turn the loudspeaker high enough and avoid all other noises! The link below goes to the picture. If you watch it long enough you can really discover something unbelievable there and you will ask you why you haven't seen that before. Really creepy! It's just like one of this optical tricks. Awesome! To save you some time a hint: Concentrate on the area around the table and maybe to the window. The ghost is sitting between the laptop and the flowerpot, if I remember right. The creepy thing is you can even perceive some whispering and muttering that seems to be from the ghost. It's very quiet and weak but if you turn the loudness up a bit you can hear it sometimes. It can take a while to recognize the ghost, so give you a moment of time. I was totally flabbergasted!!! Very important, look until you see him and... It's unbelievable... Click here if you are ready for creepieness!

Very nice story. It's indeed really hard to find such blockheads.

I highly disbelieve that, since it doesn't affect the 100% run and only wastes time for a timeattack.

I'm back on Secret of Evermore again after a small timeout with other movies and defeated Aquagoth with Magic. Also after very long searching I found the best strenght gain of level 2 Atlas which will just be enough till level 31 and it should be enough for the rest of the game. Now exactly at the beginning of Gothica - my favourite World, with an amount of money that is only 8 gold coins bigger than the price of all items I have to buy. Movie updated to WIP 8! www.freewebs.com/saturnsmovies/snes9xmovies.htm Exactly 70 min at beginning of Gothica! PS: Thank you Wren, but for the final release it will take a while.

hopper: Maybe I will do a Grand Prix in some years, but now I have other projects to complete (Secret of Evermore). There are 2 reasons why I used the pratise mode: Main reason because I get a much better start of the golden fox instead of the other machines (can't reach a double bump on the golden fox in Grand Prix mode in any case) so I lose many acceleration here. 2nd because the other machines would embarrass the perfect driving line of me so to pass them would cost me some milliseconds later. In any case, I can't reach the time of 1'58"41 in grand prix mode but as I said before: my goal was to make a new World Record because I was fascinated to see this time, so I had to choose practise. And for continueing the record breaking (which is only possible in practise mode) people can use this movie further since grand prix is impossible for new records.

Whoa! Surprising driving lines you took there, especially the last turn where you drove over the sand area without a boost? Is it really that much faster? Never would've thought of it myself! I guess the speed meter is just for show and the actual speed doesn't drop that much, or at all? And also the shocking doesn't slow you down? I thought about it too, but i was staring at the speed meter again :|
The last corner is about 0,01-0,02 sec faster than a perfect normal turn and only if you can drive exactly between the rail and the sand (there is a small free area which doesn't slows you down) but the speed that you have to gain costs some time for the next lap which can be cuted by the last corner again. Also the shocking rails take about 5 km/h speed per circle but in some points it was still worth to touch them since I could get a much better line then, even by speed-lose. And no, the speed meter is not only for show. I did different lap times mainly because of the different speed I had after the last corner (read the comments of the movie). It's just because a perfect line is mostly more worth than the little speed lose especially during the boost, that's why I cuted the rails sometimes. I tested different lines with and without touching the rails and in most cases (not all) touching was the better choice.

I couldn't believe it myself, I improved the final lap from 23:22 to 23:19 again but this time even with Speed-disadvantage. The Final Time is 1:58:17!!! and this is 0.24 sec faster than WR. I will submit it right now!

strange, so far I know the WR is 23:22 for a 1-boost lap. Is there a site with even faster times like you said? I would be interested to see some records there, if its really true. And no, I can't get 4x 23:19 times in a row since every time I get 23:19 I have to take a shortcut that lowers my speed a bit so the next lap is a bit slower then. I improved the 4th lap to even 23:17 but lost many speed for the final lap and now it seems that I even can't make a 23:21 in this lap :-( So far I got a total time of 1:58:20 which is already 0.21 sec faster than the WR of 1:58:41 I know so far, but I try at least to improve to 1:58:19 because a 19 looks much better than a 20. So far it looks impossible but I try some variations to make sure if it really works.

I think I know all I need for world record attacking so far because I tried everything and did my best of it. Mastered lap 4 in 23:19 in a quickrun again since I had speed advantage in this lap as I said before. Now the final lap... I'm very concentrated at the moment and I think If all works well I will be done in about 1-2 hours.

Damn it, looks like I can't reach 23:19 of the 2nd lap in the 3rd lap again, because I had 2 or 3 km/h speed advantage in the 2nd lap after crossing the start line. I got 23:21 but with some speed advantage again and this is the best I could do. Lets go to lap 4... Re-record count: 10453 so far

I also wonder why. Nitsuja did a great job with this emulator and its so much better and easier for recording professional movies. Does anyone knows where (which topic) the next improved version of Snes9x will be posted?

Since here are many Hardcore-Gamers I thought that people could make some dates out to play on zbattle any game on SNES if there is some freetime. I already played some guys registered on this site but it was just by hazard. Is anyone interested?

Tecmo World Wrestling. Probably the best NES wrestling game, though I prefer Pro Wrestling just because it has the AMAZON DANCE~!

Good news: I mastered the second lap with 23:19 (I will even try still to improve this lap-time) after rerecording the last corner about 300 times to find the best possible line. This is 0.03 sec faster than 2nd lap of WR! Now I begin to believe that I truely can do it. EDIT: Nope, I could once again improve by some pixels but unfortunately there are about 2 pixels (maybe even 1) not enough for 23:18 :-( But this pixel-advantage I can take to the next lap anyway so it's not that bad.

Yeah, I tried it also against a good boxer for practise, and ended with a bleeding nose :-( PS: The rocky movies are really good, I like Rocky 3 and 4 most.

The problem with the imune status is easyly solved by equipping the Nova Armor (you can find it in a chest in the black omen in the room with the 2 Nu's) which protects the status and gives a very high physical defense. So you don't need the Amulet and can equip the Wall Ring instead. Then I would suggest to Charm the very useful Vigil Hat of the Mega-Mutant you fight in the omen first. This Helmet protects also the status so you could equip it to Lucca and you would have all 3 characters imune against bad status.

Some questions though. When getting the super booster. Is it best to use it as a shortcut over the sand area, which usually slows you down. Is this affected by the booster?
Definitely the best place to use since as long as you have the booster sand won't slow you down and you can make a perfect shortcut. The answers to the other questions Tuggummi should know better. I guess the bumping to the green ship at start would not increase your speed that much like the blue one, but I'm not sure.

1. Bag of Magic Food sealed my option to remove this topic now, nice turn :-) 2. Boxing is one of the best sports. If you would see this fight you would be so amazed that you even could not sleep in this night! 3. Pro Wrestling timeattack has nothing to do with Lewis VS Klitschko. 4. As far as I know there is a much better wrestling game on NES I played some years ago with some buddies but don't remember the name, only know that there were a repeating slow motion and near zoom during a awesome move like take the opponent by the legs, spining him and throw 10 meters away. Does anyone know the name of this game?

I suppose more than one person could work on this project though. Make a level each and hex edit together or something.
That is a good idea indeed. For thoose who want to continue the record breaking on other courses are welcome to use my movie further if it is done.
