True, the firing rate isn't as fast, but the power of at least the laser should off set that....that is of course if you even want to pick it up!

Wow. I've been waiting for this one to get done. About the guns - that is true about the spreader, but with the others like the rings or the laser where it's only one BIG powerful shot you can spam those quite easily. Actually, that's how I beat the last boss, I just got point blank with a laser and turbo and blew the snot out of it!

Note: The Heavy Machine Gun can be canceled with a jump. As hopping is faster than just walking, this can be used/abused to not miss as many shots.

Do you know any of the details of the OHKO? A certain attack that was grabbed at a certain moment or things like that? I would test it myself, but I'm so busy with work that even posting here is hard to do!

Yeah, Megaman the Power Battle will do the same thing. Although in that one it takes input every frame, you have to wait like 5 frames for the animation to actually take effect.

(BUMP!) Hello all! I've actaully just completed a run of this, and will post a WIP later. I played Megaman on the Megaman 1-3 course, had an in-game time of 1:05 and an actual time of 3:10. Mind you, this is just a test run, and am looking to get a "perfect" movie here. I think it would be very possible to get the in-game time below 1:00, but I'm going to need suggestions (possible alternate weapons, different course, different tactics, you know the standard stuff). I'll get that WIP posted as soon as I get home from school.

I honestly don't mind the whole F1 thing. But auto-hold would be soooooooo nice for what I'm going to attempt. You ever try to hold down 8 buttons at once adn THEN press F1? I tried looking around FBA a bit, but couldn't find something....anyone got advice?

Really? It's been a while for me on this game. Now that you metion it, I think that would be a possibility. I get the feeling that I'm being followed by something edible and magical in a container of some kind....
