I was wondering the same thing. The fight was extremely fast, but would the Crush Missiles be any faster? I also kinda wonder if Contra 3's rapid-weapon switch glitch is still here? Like each weapon can only have X number of shots on screen, so you collect say two Crush Missiles and fire one bunch and then switch to the other gun while the 1st is "reloading". Fire, switch, repeat.

Nice so far. Just wondering if the bracelet is really the best weapon. Also don't forget that the bracelet can destroy enemy projectiles. The only part I saw that this would be useful was in the Ice stage when you had to shoot down a big dude with 4-5 shots because he had started to breathe. I was suprised though when you avoided the snowslides...I thought those were an auto kill like the water-waves. And how did you jump straight to the last level?

1 life or max lives wouldn't make a difference if it's played perfectly. Might as well go for max seeing as how your score depends on the number of lives you have left if memory serves me right. I do agree though, on "Very Hard" there were a few scenarios that I just honestly could never seem to get quite right and it would be kinda nice to see them done.

I've always been a big fan of this series...but I'm not sure about how a TAS would turn out. It would basically be, screen opens, everything explodes, screen closes. It would be funny at 1st though. For a max score you would have to determine what levels give you the most points and then find a way to manipulate them all into 1 game.

Yes, level 13 will allow you to transform Fin Raziel and get a fully powered up cane which is actually quite useful. But you will not have enough MP to dish out enough damage to Bavmorda at that level. You need to be 15 to actually have enough to beat her, and even then you can't miss a single shot.

Uh, so I guess you need to be level 15 to be able to beat Bavmorda....at least according to this faq http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/nes/file/563478/19123 wow, I remember this game being mean about leveling...but not this bad!

Yeah, this game pretty much forces you to be level 13, as you can't even damage Bavmorda without the powered up cane. And even at that level you can't miss a single shot.

Indeed. I followed it up until damage was dealt...then it looked like Zero touched him and he died.

The "Information" is usually given out assuming that you got the weapon for the level. Like the 1st boss forehead thing...if you have the 45b Ball you can hit it without any risk. Also the dragon-flamethrower thing says "throat"...well it happens to be where the least amount of fire is actually at. On the weapons note: laser = totally worth it. But what about Moon beam or whatever the one with the orbiting thing? I found that if you duck/shoot you have a orbiting thing of doom. Probably won't be worth it seeing as how you have to duck to make it work....

Ok, just so you know that video wasn't too impressive, even if it wasn't TASed. I've played faster/better in realtime! Harsh sounding I know but still. There's some very nice looking combo vids out there showing off 100% combos. Perhaps with either Randper Kombat or Shang Tsung you could show off lots and lots of the different ones. Just a thought.

Um, do you need to be underwater to hurt him? I know you can stun, but I thought you could just shoot him full of arrows to hurt.

Very well done. Amusing through out the whole run. I really liked that you were able to manipulate the final boss in such a way that you were able to shake him like 7 times in a row.

Nice job! Now all you need is to figure out pet damages and you'll be set.

Can you find any other numbers, like say for instance Boss HP?

I hope so! I tired making a few a long time ago and all I got was a "meh" response.

Silent Hill. It would be cool to see if there are any sequence breaks in it. EinHander could be cool. Especially if some of the weapons were used in unique ways. Like discharging a full Spreader right in the face of something or using the hard to use weapons Python or the directed missiles.

Wow, just wow. Just out of curiosity, why 3 and not 4? I did like how you beat the snot out of the bosses so fast they just didn't know what hit them! Would it have been faster though to employ the Large Burning Oil tactic sometimes though? I really liked it when you used the Haste spell and suddenly ripped into everything!

I'm with them. I really, really liked the little WIP and would like to see a full run too.

Not too bad. Shame you couldn't get a faster fill up other than farming the one guy. Otherwise it's pretty good.

http://www.racketboy.com/retro/nintendo/n64/2008/03/enhance-n64-graphics-with-emulation-plugins-texture-packs.html Ok, this is for Project 64. But would such a thing be possible for Mupen? And if so would it cause timing differences? In my small understanding it shouldn't. But I'm proabably wrong. I just think it would be cool to watch TASes enhanced like this....

Well, the short version is that it seems there's no way to verify how long the movie actually is. Something about how we need to know how fast the game runs in FPS in order to know how much time has actually passed or something to that effect. And it seems that noone is interested in adding the little feature or 2 to make it work.
