The controller protocol says that each axis goes from 0-255 (for both the main and C-sticks), L and R go from 0-255 as well (255 being the regular state). When you press them, there are two seperate buttons as well. Those are the only "pressure sensitive" button, the others are represented by a single bit each. This adds up to 64bit per frame: http://www.int03.co.uk/crema/hardware/gamecube/gc-control.htm

Yeah-right. Thank you very much for yet another attempt to squeeze data into a proprietary format when there would have been free alternatives. Btw: wrong frequency for both audio and video.

The videos run at ~20fps for me (don't even ask when it's full screen), so really a great quality I must say. If you want to try a "new" mkv file, try both my latest publications.

Done, get the new torrent. It's also a "tad" smaller than the one before. I will add some srt file if people actually contribute translations, but not replace the MKV another time.

I could translate the German opening, but that'd be about it.

Nope, it worked out great. Encoding it right now. /edit: Also, exchanging ROMs is not permitted here.

I have a bug of some sorts to report in .3c: When trying to capture the X-Men vs Street Fighter run, it pauses the game after the input ended. That itself is a little annoying, but acceptable (Auto pause either doesn't do anything about it or I'm misinterpreting it). What I find strange is that the resulting avi file is a few KBytes past the 4GiB mark once input ended and doesn't grow anymore when the credits and everything roll. Additionally, neither VLC nor (S)Mplayer can play it afterwards. If I stop capturing before it hits the mark, the files will play back just fine. I haven't tested stopping the AVI when input ends and starting a new one for the credits, but that's hardly comfortable imho. I think I remember a previous version of FBA splitting the avi files at some limit (~2GB?) and starting the next one, which would usually enable me to just merge them into one big file. Any idea on this? :) /edit: Nope, it also crashes when I end the avi during the automatic pause after playing the movie. Seems to be related to the 4GiB mark, I guess.

Synced flawlessly. Will watch later. /edit: once more, a weak yes vote.

Same here, it only synced with his config. I will make a diff of my ini file and his and see what was wrong. mz, could you also put the ROM's zip name and/or some hash into the FBM file? Before fiddling with the config, I thought that he used an odd ROM/zip to begin with.

Would you mind uploading your zipped config directory for FBA and sending it to me? It may be config related.

You are aware that those subtitles are not hardcoded but optional, right? Click through your VLC settings or press V when using mplayer.

The latter is fixed, but I'll have to talk back with Nach about the former. Thanks for the report :)

What about sync dependent changes to possibly come? Will they be ported to both projects or is Mednafen-rr going to "die"?

His encode is perfectly fine, your version of VLC is outdated. Try watching the published encode of Dr. Mario, you'll find it equally screwed up for you.

alden, Derakon: Log out from the forums, delete your cookies and log in again. I've never had that issue, but I'm guessing it's session related. ZeXr0: It will happen again and there's nothing we really can without getting a server with even more memory.

Are you logged in? If so, are you also logged in while trying to rate? Try deleting your cookies for tasvideos.org. Oh, btw: one post is very well sufficient for stuff like that.

It was alright. Nothing to watch twice, but still good enough for my yes vote.
