Newer Wii's TAS video released on youtube by Unknown394(in this site) in 2016. I don't have a plan to make a TAS about that game nowadays.

A smart guy told me a huge improvement in 8-7. So I'm remaking it now. Just pause for a while.
Area 2 file of 8-7 replace to 8-5. So I didn't find that level map in nsmb editor before...

For 8-6: I didn't pay attention to that before. I'll give it a test tonight.
For 8-7: If you trigger that spike platform before getting the star, you'll get injured.. Waste time for injured firstly, and then take time to get the second hammer item.
EDIT: For 8-6, some special actions do take effect to the auto-scroll. So it's a improvable point...

Uhhhh.. Just ONE player. Get all starscoins, find all exits, including world 9. And reach 5 stars' savestate at last. w(゚Д゚)w
Thank you for your reply. I will have a rest for this run during some days. I've finished about 1/2 of the whole run. Just world by world. I didn't think about how faster if alternate every world. If you do join, I'll give you my run and savestates.

Here's a new record in 25:24.32. Though the original author gave us an inaccurate time - 25:18.9. I've given it a playback with dolphin 5.0. It's real.

Newer DS released on Christmas in 2017, finally. I've waited it for 3 years, though.
I've play through most of levels. And fortunately, it's great!
Now I've make a 8-final TAS. You guys could find a few awesome things in my movie. I searched some necessary RAM addresses. But it is disappointing that I couldn't search out RNG.

I don't think so. If aims for fastest time only, a boring phenomenon will appear. There will be 5 publications for this game on this site. Each one for each ending. And all them use a same character - Fang. Then someone would say "we need other kinds of videos for this game." Or someone has said that. And it is worse to do other characters' runs for every ending. So make whole characters for whole endings in ONE movie is better. And try not to use Fang.
It's OK. I give it "100%" tag just because this one is well-known.
Sure, you can. That will makes it more interesting and richer.

Big yes vote from me. New glitch saves much time on the ruy way. Most boss fighting is faster than the previous.

I fall in a problem. I can't searched the RAM which I want in Newer 1.20. It's different from NSMBW. I tried big float engine & 4 bytes big, and 4 bytes and float. But all failed. If someone has found some of them? Such as speed and position.

I've just watched a little about it.
I want to know if you watched the RAM while doing the TAS truly? Many improvable improvements here and there. You can slide for a longer time on the ground after the slopes. And I didn't see any corner boosting.
So I suggest you to learn some skills in other NSMB videos (Including DS and wii console.).
On the other hand, maybe use another item somewhere is better.
In my opinion, for a video such as this one about 1.5 hours, rerecording counts should be more than 15 thousand at least. And you need cost more than 20 days. Or you need try to TAS NSMBwii firstly. If your run is not slower than mine, then do newer's TAS.
