The initial log star strategy was 6 seconds faster than hot-foot. Then Rikku found a way to walljump from the other side of the cage, which saves at least one more second. Swordless Link then had a theory that you could LJ along the fence and then go through/knock Mario off the fence to fall right on the star. Which would save even more time.

I thought it was pretty good. I'm gonna vote yes, but I think it could be a little better. I don't know how far some of those enemy manipulations can go and some of those movements so I can't really fault you too much. Just think with some playing around those could go smoother. Still worth the yes though, and you chose a very entertaining game to watch.
Indeed, I am aware that some parts could have been better. If I ever do another run of this game (which I don't think I will ;D), those points will be taken into account. This game is VERY un-hex-edit-friendly, which explains some mistakes I make that easily could've been fixed. To be honest, I only succeeded one hex-edit with a single desync throughout the run.

I loved this game as a kid, and I love this run, though I felt that for a 100%, you should've gone all the way with at least one of the end stage bonus jumps, thats just me though, definate yes vote either way
Heh, well the goal was to make the game show 100% on the file when the game was completed, which the run fulfilled.

Reaching sub-something is just an accomplishment - a goal that you strive for. Reaching sub-something in my opinion looks better than anything over it.

Eh, it was kind of dragging by the end. The turbo-A thorughout the run that resulted in an entire channel of music being cut out didn't help matters, nor did the fact that the hawk's theme was played thoughout a large part of the run. Meh.
So you aren't complaining about the playing really, just that it was a bad game choice?

You would still need to find improvements elsewhere to make up for the time, I think looking at it now, I probally wouldn't except an improvement run that doesn't beat 15 mins.
So you are saying that a run that is ~6 seconds faster isnt worth publishing...?
No, but publishing a run that is something like 15:01.2 isn't really worth it. Better wait for more improvements so we can go sub-15.

Headbutt jumping is equally fast as normal jumping according to my tests. Also jumping one frame from the ground or ON the ground is equally fast too, but pressing A when one frame above the ground visually looks better. I'll do a small test to see if I can beat your time. 16 frames ahead up to the same place as you. Already love this game, I might as well go for a full run if there is enough interest. So please post if you think you would like to watch this run.

Quite an interesting game. It has got lots of enemies to kill, and they don't take any time to kill if you're jumping, which is a big plus. Damage boosting seems to be possible too, so I think this would make a great TAS.

You planned the route clear-sighted, played it excellently and showed most abilities (except for poor little Rick :D), especially my favourite one: fire-kirby! I loved playing this game years ago - a time a could think back to watching this movie. So thanks Soulrivers, and YES vote. PS: The only thing I wonder is, if it would have saved time to take damage to get past the spike enemies in 5-4.
Thanks. :) Glad to entertain. On your note, I did a damage boost at that spot already. D: What's your point?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_-QJiDQtKUA 22 seconds. Indeed it is faster. By 4 seconds. Also my video can be perfected. Definitely. On a side note this was my first n64 recording.

Nice find, Rikku. This should definitely be used in the CCC run. Also I think it's debatable to use this star instead of Hot-foot now in the 16-star.

Of course I would love to see this run completed, since there's going to be a lot of extra small movements that will make a large difference in the end. I'd love to see exactly how you do some of the harder stars, and I'm glad to see you're still getting it done. Quick questions though: Why didn't you BLJ into the princess slide or into WF? I don't remember that you have to get coins doing that, and it's faster than seeing the star animation.
You automaticly take the two coins on the pillars above if you do that.

Very nice Guano and Comical. Looks like a perfect Deku Tree to me, and good job on the boostin' off the spider. One thing I thought about though, isn't it faster to fall into the water and slide up on land when going down the second web?

It seems that after I defeat Dark Matter (the boss coming when you have all Rainbow Pieces), you can choose from either sound, bonus or boss. Sound means you can simply listen to the soundtrack from the game. In bonus mode you go through all the bonus stages again, and in boss mode you get to face all the bosses once more, without any abilities. Would any of those be valid in this run? I think it would get repetive to go through the same stages all over again, but that's just me. Thoughts please.

World 6 WIP Nothing to comment on really except that the boss was really hard to manipulate. There probably are faster ways of manipulating him, but this is the fastest I could find. Enjoy.

Simply brilliant execution of all the stages in terms of speed and routes. You cannot be human, so this is a yes and star vote.

Would be a boring watch unless a huge sequence break was found. The game would probably be over 7 hour unassisted. :/
