A mini-game in Yoshi's Island (the same ROM used on the run) I think it is framely perfect (from where the movie begins, of course) and look to the Re-record count o.O Maybe it is boring =/ http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/907/yi_throwing_baloons.smv

I think that there is a mod for php that supports a checking-like pool. I've seen it once in a php forum.

hehe.. and I thought I was the only one who watches speedruns to fall asleep :) For me any run works that I've watched before (so I don't force myself to stay awake to see what happens) and that doesn't feature sudden volume changes (mother brain screeching = me awake again). I just can't use them too often, or they'll get boring. So I usually watch new runs while being awake for entertainment, and pick a run I've recently watched at night. I remember this one worked quite well, will watch it again tonight.
LOL, it's EXACTLY the same with me I've slept in Monopoly's run =(

I'm kinda echletic.. I like.. Old Rock songs (AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Pink Floyd), Psy Trance (1200 mics, Vibe Tribe, Astral Projection) and game songs (right now I'm almost dancing MM2 here). Also, remixed game songs are very nice (ocremix). But I can listen to a lot of songs without getting bored! Rap, Pop, Metal, etc..

The name of rom I use is: "Donkey kong country (1.0) (U) [!]" Settings: WIP timing fake mute desync workaround. I expect now that I will save around 30 - 50 seconds with the tactics i know now. But can end up with more or less I can't really tell now. If you have any tactics or anything that you think can improve please tell me. And i will keep updating this topic and posting WIP. Edit: restarted the run.
just quoting the first post, it is not there =/

Following that logic, it also looks "tuped" (wth is this anyway?) if you get warp barrels.. If you're aiming for the fastest time I don't think that entering in a bonus should slow you down.. Anyway, excellent movie, the 102% will worth a star..

flagitious, Engarde is easy to max 999. I have a vid to give you an idea. http://paultanney.free.fr/alexpenev/full/dkc_enguarde_999(played_on_SNES9x).avi Expresso should be next easiest. Just swoop from high and zigzag down. Winky is tricky. You basically need to climb high and drop downwards while grabbing 2 columns at once (on the descent). This is pretty random non-TAS since Winky is constantly wobbling and hit detection with tokens is frustrating. But if you pull it off (i.e. grabbing the majority of tokens in a double-column drop) about 3 times in the same run, you have a good chance at 999.
the link is kinda broke, put it that way:

Perhaps also no star roads should be taken? I would watch that video.
Yeah, I should have put that between the two goals: 1) Does not collect feathers 2) Completes all possible exits 3) Aims for fastest time Technically, it wouldn't be 11-exits. You need the GSP to get the secret exit in DP1 without a cape, and you probably need the RSP to get the secret exit in SW4 without a cape.
I think he meant: 1) Does not collect feathers 2) Does not use warps (such as the Star Road) 3) Aims for fastest time
