I also think the missed shots in the autoscroller looked bad, but the game was pretty nice! Hooray for cute penguins and fast boss fights. I think the plane sections were done about as well as they could have been done.
From what I could tell, you always fire 3 shots. However, I haven't played this game so I don't know for sure if that's true.

the platforming levels were really entertaining but the autscrolling levels weren't. and that's not your fault because you executed them excellently.
I second that, and also voted yes.

I have sent a message to adelikat (either to become an editor or to post it on the forum) and will share my findings shortly.

Oh wow, thanks for that! It was very helpful in clarifying how to use the cheat search/RAM watch/RAM search :) I was able to find what I was looking for, but I wouldn't mind finding some more stuff that is helpful for any future TASes (X/Y value etc.) I noticed the Game Resources page only has information on a few games. Would there be an interest in information about this game?

Hi all, first of all: I'm not sure if this is the right forum or if it even belongs in the TASVideos forums. If not, no hard feelings, I'll ask somewhere else. I just figured people here might know about this topic. Alright, on to my story: I want to make maps for the NES game Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, just like I did for Star Wars (IV). Not really a problem, except for the inaccessible parts of the map. In Level 5 you can get a Force power that enables you to levitate, which is extremely useful for this except for two things: (1) you can't get it before Level 5 and (2) you have limited Force power so you can't use it forever and ever. GameGenie.com has some GG codes for the game, such as "always have light saber" but no "always have levitate" or "unlimited force power", so it would be nice if I could "make" these cheats myself, aka find the memory addresses that hold the force power amount and which force powers you possess. Unfortunately, I have no experience with this so I would like some help. I read the old FCEU help file on Cheats and saw the RAM Search in FCEUX. In theory, I could use it to see which address changes when you pick up a "Force refill" or a new Force power, but there's 64KB of memory which is pretty much impossible to track. So, my real question is: how do people do this? How do you keep track of 64KB of memory when all you want is one or two values?

Voted "Meh". The TAS seems okay, but the game is too slow-paced and simple (esp. level design) to be interesting.

Voted Yes. Maybe the lag in the last level could be reduced by killing some enemies, but I'm not sure if that would be faster. Thanks for this run, it makes this game look a lot easier than it did when I played it as a kid!

Nice TaS of a legendary game like Duke, Wonder if we'll see Duke 3d TaS anytime soon!
Your prayers have been answered
Quote from that page: Duke Nukem 64 (1997) is a classic PC shooter ported to Nintendo 64 — unfortunately, in a heavily censored state, and without much concern for the game's performance. ;) A pc run would be a welcome addition.

Great run. Can we expect a run for the other episodes one day?

@SatoshiLyish: I like your effort, but I don't feel it's working. For a still scene with 2 frames it works fine, but in a movie it just looks as if everything is "jiggling" and it doesn't give me a 3D-effect at all.

Love the game, love the TAS. It's a shame this game is not well known.

After years of lurking around this site, I finally decided to register. So here's my first YES vote! Though I think people who never played this game might not find it entertaining enough, I thoroughly enjoyed this run.
