I was 10 or 11 and playing a bunch of Goldeneye. I vividly remember playing through Dam with my best friend. After the tunnel, before the security door with the truck, I hugged the left wall as always. The enemy hiding behind the metal boxes fired as normal. Using the AK, I blew off both of his arms. A special dying animation of him wriggling around as he slowly sunk to his knees and died played. No shooting blood, just the normal looking rash, with no detached arms or anything on the ground. To this day I do not remember this as a dream, but an actual event that happened. Indeed, 20 years ago I would have bet my life on it. I know now, of course, that it is impossible to shoot off a person's arms in Goldeneye, and I played the game enough to vividly dream about it.

Thanks folks. Good to see your name again too, masterjun. Edit: here is the old URL I used, for interest's sake: http://tasvideos.org/f/folder_sticky_new.gif

The game "Super Metroid: Kaizo Edition" doesn't have any game versions in the catalog, so the site can't know which system(s) the game belongs to. Despite this, the reason the one existing submission for this game
So is this something that can be manually added to the catalog so the site knows where to put it? Obviously this is not a pressing issue, or an issue within the site's code whatsoever, I didn't realize there were catalogues that would automatically populate different aspects of the site. I assure you I am not pressing for this to be fixed, you guys are wrong, etc. I'm more interested in the new site workings. Is there a forum post or wiki that explains these changes when they were brand new? I would like to catch up on the workings. Keep up the good work, folks. I appreciate you.

I know it's been a while, but since when can we select a mood? Lmao. I ran a search for movies by type (PSX), and a super Metroid came up. Not labeled PSX or SNES, but does redirect to the SNES game's page. Turns out it was only submitted, not published. Only bringing awareness in case this is a bug with un-labeled games. :)

Thanks Nach for jumping on this. The real question is are we getting TASBot back?

It's always fun to come back from a sabbatical to see updates to a favorite TAS. Good find EZ. Hopefully someone will pick up where you left off.

That was a great trip down memory lane. And a solid spanking of a really hard platformer. Yes vote.

It seems inflating to have 7+ runs of the same game, but at the same time the goals are not arbitrary or close enough to the same. This one uses a completely different character and moveset. Too bad we can't make sub folders on the main page. But I vote for non-obsoletion.

To be honest, I was really bored. I stopped watching before Angel Island 2 was done. The technical side of things is impressive, however. Strong meh.

I will be interested to see the fruits of your labor as well! Reading back on my post... yeah. Sorry for being super grumpy Espyo.

Very well executed run, but the beeping ruined it for me. I would have preferred to see a little more than 2 seconds lost than listen to incessant beeping for 15 minutes of a 20 minute run.

I guess I picked a good time to check tasvideos. It has only been 18 months. Put me down for a yes on the new movie, as I am sure I won't have the chance to vote myself!

"Alter difficulty" made me laugh. Interesting enough. I would probably watch the whole game.
