I still think the Naruto image would have been more impressive.
Can do.

Honestly, I don't feel like booting up VBA... but the youtube looked good (I know, old version). I will give a yes vote, to the youtube one, but will not vote on this submission because, well, I didn't watch it. So, judges, I give a yes to the youtube, and a tentative (unwatched) yes to the submission. Take it for what it is worth :)

More specifically, I used Frame skip (set to 9) and ran the emulator at ~400% speed. Used CAM studio (Windows), and have no idea why there is no sound >_>;

Detonator, why not try sending MUGG your setting file for your emulator. If it changes any of his settings, and the flicker is gone, we could find out what settings must be turned on/off for this movie to work. I don't remember the emulator's setting filename off the top of my head, so can't help you there.

I believe I have asked this before, so here is what I remember of the answer: There can be 0 or 1/2 seeds for a torrent, but as soon as someone (you) wishes to download, an automatic seeding script begins the magic. Given enough time, Bisqwit (I believe) will be seeding to you through an automatic seeder, and you will eventually have the download complete. Doing it this way (as opposed to seeding everything constantly) saves bandwidth. Hopefully I remembered everything correctly, but that is the gist of it ;)

My dad is working for a new video game retailer and coming up with a marketing angle to help promote them efficiently. If you're a gamer, are bored, and feel like helping him and myself out greatly, please fill this out. [= Obviously your identity will not be used or anything. This is just to get in touch with the general gaming audience and what they prefer. Gender? Male Age? 21 Play on PC or Console? Console! If Console, which one? Wii, PS2, GCN Do you play: [+] Alone? [-] Online? [+] In-home groups? Do you take your gaming “seriously?” (want to beat friends, win tourneys etc.) Not especially, but when I play smash bros with my buds we talk a bunch of shit. Where do you get your information about games? I see a game at Walmart, and then check the reviews at GameFAQS. Previously I looked at GameInformer and Nintendo Power Favorite games? *No particular order:* 1. GTA: San Andreas 2. Paper Mario Series 3. Fire Emblem Series • Where do you buy your games? Is there room for improvement? Yes. Is this more like what a smash bros. TAS should look like? Yes. So, I will go with a yes vote on this one.

Yeah, this was a lot more enteraining, it gets my yes vote. Do note that it's open for competition, and a more entertaining playaround could obsolete it.
What if we take different characters into consideration? Yoshi provides a different form of entertainment that someone like Ness or Link. Or Captain Falcon. Of course, 12 potential runs would be a bit of a stretch, but it is something to consider if any future playarounds are different enough.
Aside from the relatively different B moves, wouldn't every game be just about the same? EDIT: then again, Mortal Kombat has all the same moves for every character, just different "B" moves. Never mind :P

I didn't really apologise. I clarified. And since when was opinion an asshole attitude rant?
It wasn't YOUR opinion, it was this is me's opinion, that had implications of being a straight up ass.

that was pretty close except i did not mean a crowd of people railed against it; i meant that it was another example of a "contentious" submission because the people who knew the game well called it unoptimized (which it was) and that the creator of the run did not know the game's mechanics well and there was arguing for several pages etc. etc.
Pretty much a clarification, but it leads to...

Is there a reason you need to sound like such an asshole? This is a debate, not snide remarks that ask for ass chewing, so as to continue the flame war. Note how Alden and [someone else] apologized and hugged and became friends again with the "I apologize for this, what I meant was this" etc. There is no need for apologizing and then immediately going into another rant with an asshole attitude implied in the text. I leave you with this: Opinions are great, but trying to stir up more shit is not. Try dropping your guns, chilling out, and observe/comment with an objective opinion. [/rant]

This should not be published in any way, shape, or form.
    The movie was repetitive. No entertainment value what so ever. If the movie was aiming for fastest time, why did a red yoshi have to be hit two times? Massive FAILURE messages burn my eyes.
To sloppy to be put onto TASVideo's high-quality N64 video list, and too dull to be taken seriously as "entertaining." Use more combos, and not aim for only speed, and you may be able to make a good (and publishable) SSB movie. [/opinionated rant]
