have you tried it, upthorn? even if it does work, though, i imagine that eventually the nanosecond discrepancies between the emulator and movie will add up and cause a desynch later on in the game (if not immediately)

As I explained in my submission text, I utilized the "tilt" feature already. This is where half of my original savings came from. However I think it's probably improvable; I didn't do a whole ton of trial and error testing to make this absolutely frame perfect.

The bonus levels can be improved some also. But this won't be on the top of my list for a while though, so that'll give you a chance to get a good run in.
would it be faster to "TILT" the pinball machine? i dont know if it is possible in this gem of a game, but it might be a bit faster than waiting for the ball to go down the hole... i have no way to test this (crappy emulators for mac T_T) so this is just kind of thinking aloud.

Actually, not releasing the cork forbids the player to reach the kart, because the player can't move from the very first room, but I think that when Sonic is thrown a certain way to the tunnels (glitch), you can still find your way. What's important to know is : does that slime really kills you? If I remember right, no, but nobody has a reliable memory.
the game has no underwater levels (unless i am mistaken), thus all liquid seen in the game (magma, water, slime) provides a nice, quick, instant death. i mean, even the slime by that barrel on the second level of stage one (that is green) kills you... i mean, what else would the slime do, turn you into a ninja turtle?

fuck this game's difficulty... i got past level 1 with no lives, and then fell like a ton of adamantium on level two. i will help where i can, but due to my current state of mac computing it will not be often T_T. we need more mac emulators!

it seems to me you wait longer than necessary on jumps. instead of jumping on the first possible frame you may wait a few before pressing jump again. this was all naked-eye observation, so i may be wrong.
Also, is there a reason you whipped out your claws? wolverine's claws
are badass [/geek-out] but does it cost frames for an animation or requires you to stop forward movement in order to press the correct buttons?
anyways, first tas attempts are really difficult, but really helpful to the player (you). dont give up hope or get pissed off because we took this thing apart, it wasnt personal. christ, you should see my first attempts at X-men compared to jaysmad's work... that was my first attempt at running anything, and, well, it sucked bad.

Well, here is what i think:
the music was hilarious, the final boss looked just like every other goon in this game (even though during the highly intense cutscenes he was shown as an uuber god), and the girl lifted her leg when she was rescued.
these reasons, along with lack of sleep, make me vote a meh on this run... this stuff made me laugh my ass off but it had NOTHING to do with the actual game/run
