Could you manipulate a grenade in the first room to either: A) Blow up the computer stuff faster in that same first room B) Blow up the ammo place with one grenade throw I cant remember if there were any other objectives that a grenade would work for, or would stop you from using a grenade due to some objective constraint, but just a thought.

Beautiful! The door just before reaching Mishkin, it appears that you stalled for a few frames. Could you open the door any sooner? Aside from that, everything is vastly improved. Especially the last door and window. Nice work!

Because the regular shield has an ability for Super Mighty, pressing "A" in the air while possessing the shield, he does a "burst" of energy, killing all badniks on screen, this takes approximately 4-6 frames and can make things alot easier to get past. Can also be used on Robotnik (But you have to hit him for the final hit)
Ah, this would be an excellent reason for getting that shield... XD

Turn to regular mighty? I didn't, you're probably referring to his Normal shield ability, as stated before, it kills all badniks on-screen.
I didnt notice all the badniks dying onscreen, however I wasnt really paying any attention for that so that is probably the reason why you seemingly reverted for ~1 second. EDIT: I DO remember mighty being in the air, so that must have been when you used the power.

I know this is not even a WIP, but I am bored as hell doing laundry, so here are my suggestions for your mighty run (really truly a great run, I just need SOMETHING to do as opposed to shooting myself with boredom. Nothing personal that I chose your run ;) ) Levels after Super Mighty is obtained: I am rather disappointed that you never caught 'em all (shields), for no reason.. I just wanted to make the horrible Pokemon reference. I really liked how you used the bubble shield to fall quicker whenever you could. Misty Maze 1/2/3: Is there a reason why you always get a regular shield when one is presented? IDK if it is a stylistic reason or whatever. Misty Maze 1: When you do a bubble bounce and then an electricity shield double jump, do you actually have to switch to the required shield or, because you are super mighty, can you use all of the shield powers at the same time/double pressing A for bounce, and double pressing B for electricity jump? Misty Maze 2: I think you should have skipped getting the invincibility , due to massive lag.. atleast on my computer. Misty Maze 3: Why/how did you turn from super mighty into regular mighty with 70+ rings? IDK if I missed something or if it was a glitch ect. Starry Night 2: BOO at Super Mighty, I enjoyed the MIDI Michael Jackson D: Final Zone: I was very entertained with the glitchy piston, made me laugh at how crappy Robotnik builds his war machines. I really enjoyed this movie.. for some reason, even though mighty kind of sucks, I could see him being one of the best characters to TAS with due to his ability to have/hold ALL of the shields at one time, thus giving him unlimited possibilities with shield usage and techniques.

It seemed your forward movement had to slow down/stop when you opened up the very last door just before jumping out the window. Is there any way you could get through the door faster? Also in that scene, is there any way to get out the window quicker than doing your zig-zag from the window frame to away from the window (so you could center yourself?) and then through the window? Those were the only parts I noticed that looked like they could be improved. If you are able to save a couple fractions of a second with the two improvements I suggested, you may be able to finish off the rest of the fractions if you could kill some lag, most noticable at 00:14.

I don't really think you need to get all the food, though.
The only reason I think he should get the food is because during that high dive bonus level, all you do is fall for seemingly eons, with that douchebag blowing the fan at you... might give the viewer something to see so as not to get bored... then again I am sure he could play around with that fan guy, somehow... such angry memories of that fan man EDIT: Whoops, I may have made myself unclear in my original post. He should get all the food in the random bonus levels, not in the actual levels that require you to go through rings or hit blocks or what-have-you

I recorded from a savestate, and recorded only once (no rerecords) and when I played the file back the rerecord count was -1. As far as I know, I didnt do anything spectacularily different than usual. The rom was Aero the Acrobat for genesis, and the .gst file is here http://www.megaupload.com/?d=VGZKIQKF

I was extremely entertained... having played the game in my youth, your movie made me cry tears of happiness (due to how freakin' hard the game was, and how easily aero flies through the levels in your run) Is there any way to keep a fast speed ie: when on another unicycle, if you were able to continue moving fast after getting off. Also, the downwards spin when in the air does not allow those star blocks to flip over, correct? Would there be any faster way/glitch to make them change in a way other than a full jump? EDIT: I did a little experimenting, and got this little piece of run for you. Definitely could be used to entertain somewhat, by falling off the side and then spinning back up to the blocks just in time to trigger the changing. This was recorded using a savestate. make sure you play the movie from savestate and then find the file using the browse button. microstorage wouldnt accept the file, so i have to use megaupload: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=VGZKIQKF /EDIT During the second level I liked how close you came to getting hit by spikes both times you used the cannon. Finally, due to a poor memory, is there any way to bypass the bonus rounds, say by not collecting 10 stars or something. I think, if possible, the bonus rounds should not be shown, due to aero falling for 30 seconds and collecting fruit. If there is no way to bypass the stages, you definitely need to collect ALL the food ^_< So far that is all... good work, man!

If you are going to TAS the game on SNES I say use the original J rom. However if running and understanding all printed text (even though you will probably blast through all text anyways) is too important to pass up, then I would go for the FFIV Advance. Another plus is blowing through the extra dungeons... however Kain's extra dungeon room is horribly time consuming (plus you need to make ~3 trips down all 50 levels to make it to every character's challenge). It probably took me ~20 minutes (if memory serves) to reach the first of the challenges... so on second thought, maybe doing each character's challenge isnt a great idea after all @_@;

The only downside of the GBA version is the apparent battle lag, but I'm sure you can find the proper settings for that, plus the extra scene near the end of the game talking about the extra cavern.
I don't recall any lag, but it has been about a year since I have played the game so I may have forgotten all about it.. if any lag appears I would assume it would appear when there are more than 3 enemies or some sort of magic. If I can find the cartridge I will do some testing for lag.

Okay I hope nobody have seen this. Viewer discretion is strongly advised. http://www.youtube.com/watch?search=&mode=related&v=-SHYoyUaSL0 This is such a sad story. Im so god damn outraged that they killed the lion. Mankind, what a joke.
I must admit, I completely agree with euthanizing (sp) the lion. No animal's life is worth a human life... if I had a choice I would kill the lion and let the man live. However I disagree with circus'/zoos keeping exotic animals in places they do not belong, for instance a lion in a cage in Iran. There is a reason these animals are wild. Trying to tame a lion is a rediculous notion, a notion that, in this case, ended with the lion's termination. :'(

I think the best pairing would be Max and Skate, due to Max's powerful moves and Skate's flashy moves, as well as a nice counter balance: Max's slow power and Skate's quick glancing blows.

Your talents are endless, it appears. I stumbled across this topic after you wrote in it and I really enjoy what I hear... basically, JXQ, you spit hot fire. I can honestly say I am generally more entertained by your rapping than most of Tupac's rapping, however that may be because I am a white guy living in the middle of Wisconsin ^_^; Anyways, excellent work and I hope you continue to make excellent songs!

What you could do is make a savestate just before the first battle. Now you would make a test run for running and a test run for fighting. Basically move to the same squares, but Run A does not attack while Run B attacks any enemies. This could be a way to give a rough comparison for what would be faster, running or fighting.

Is it possible to affect the stats gained at level up? Although not necessary (sp) it may be interesting to have the main character's stats maxed out... Edit: Oh, yeah, good job on the 2nd WIP ;P
