Well this game got destroyed. There's quite a bit of stuff you need to do in the game to get to the ending, and you just bypassed most of it. Yes vote!

To clarify, this game was never officially translated to English (Same deal with Cave Story). I figured I'd run it on the official version so to avoid problems with a fan translation.
There is an official English translation, it's just not for the PC. It's for the 3DS.

Encode? Kinda hard to pass judgement when you aren't capable of watching the run (I get a vibe from Hourglass that it only actually works on WinXP, and I'm on Win8 64-bit...)

I was playing this ROM hack in BizHawk 1.6.0, and during the first stage of the fourth level (Ocean Catacombs Act 1, taking place of Labyrinth Zone Act 1), the emulator suddenly closed and this popped up: Yes, I was abusing rewinds quite a bit. This is not a very friendly hack.

I would really like to see this redone in Sonic 3 & Knuckles, if only for more of these shenanigans! Sandopolis Act 2 was amazing.

What is up with this submission text? It's like you threw it through an online translator and just blindly pasted in the results. "Get Bamboo dragonfly by ? box." Bamboo dragonfly? Don't you mean Propeller Suit? I'll check this run out when someone puts up a Youtube encode. Video codecs and Dolphin hate me for some reason.

How about Ninja Golf? Seems like a unique beat-em-up to run.

Can someone please do a 100% run next?
Seconding this motion. Sure it means sacrificing 5 acts, but in exchange we get to see 3 more acts (the non-biplane special stages) and 4 more boss fights. And of course, the ending credits! As for this run, I'm amazed at how fast you managed to make Sonic move in this game. Very impressed!

A 100% Quest Mode run would probably be a bit more interesting.

Kinda posted a similar idea nearly 2 years ago. However this is far better than anything I could ever come up with. Very entertaining! Yes vote.

Holy SHIT. Though you never said anything in the submission text about the Restart Level Canceling trick you used in pretty much every level to avoid getting a prompt for the special stage... Definate yes vote!

Would subtitles or epic audio commentary make it even more awesome?
Something like this has been done before but audio commentary from the author and maybe a few other people familiar with this game would be really awesome. Man, THIEF is epic. (Yes vote!)

Pardon the double post, but this is kind of important and I want to bring attention to it. I created basic maps of EVERY level in the game. They don't show any object locations, because I don't know where that is stored in RAM. But I do have all the level layouts here, which should be more than ample for route planning. You may notice that the map for 7-3 has a sealed-off area. That area is where the boss door is located, and getting in there is a bit... unorthodox. See, there are other doors in levels that take you to bonus levels, and when you clear said bonus level, you reappear elsewhere on the map. (But if you die, you lose a life and have to start over in the stage itself.) So, in 7-3, you have to go through a bonus level to reach the sealed area, so you can reach the final boss. This is, IIRC, the only time a bonus stage is mandatory.

I have no clue how many levels there are. I can't find anything on Google about the game other than a campy and cheesy description from the box.
I and someone else on Sonic Retro have messed around with this game before (but not in the TAS-y way). To answer your question, there's 7 worlds in total.
Oh, BTW... the main character is supposed to be a duck. A duck with an electrical cord for a tail. Yeah. Everyone can laugh now.
Not just any duck, but a time-traveling duck! Sonikkustar, your current WIP looks pretty cool! I like the glitching in 2-3. Here's a little tip to save in real time that you may or may not know: if you reach the goal with full energy, you get an extra bonus that takes time to tally into your score. So if it is possible, it's a little faster to reach the goal with less than full energy. Good luck on your TAS! Hope you like gravity puzzles! That's the entirety of the 6th world.

Uh, problem. Game objectives states: Takes no damage However in Star Light Zone 3, you took damage from a hazard to get a midair boost! And then again in Scrap Brain Zone 2 to quickly get past some sawblade hazards. Looks like you gotta edit that objective to "Takes damage to save time", misters Otherwise, this run looks really nice! Voting yes on this.
