This run is exactly what the game needed. Yes all the way. As for the unassisted high scores, I believe that they all run out the clock minutes after it's over, and are very boring to watch.

I don't see why all of those poor coins went to waste... During the volcano parts, can't you shoot the rocks over your head while jumping instead of ducking to save time? During the long vertical lifts part, when you have to cross five lanes, why did you needed to hold down to get past?

Great work! Having played through the game even just a little, I see how amazing it is to get through those parts with unleveled monsters. Yes vote.

I was thinking the same kind of thing about Kingdom Hearts... Anyway, I liked the run and the abused physics. I didn't see any problems either. Voting yes.

You seemed to jump higher than you needed to for many of the short steps up. I don't know if the game just rounds between heights, or not. I thought that the vertical jumping parts in the waterfall levels were sloppy. Some jumps were noticeably higher than others. Is it possible in the level with the long wait for the elevator to get to a short passage with a person in it, to jump and hit the wall where you bounce back and forth to instead get knocked in? Seems like it would save a lot of time.

I think that because you would only save so little on a warped run, and there's the loong wait for counting points if you do, there should only be a warpless run. 81 seconds for 12 levels is a good trade, IMO. Voting yes.

Since no one is saying what to do better, I think tighter use of the slots could have saved seconds off the run, just by waiting a few more frames on the reels that took longer to slow down to stop.

I was impressed by the planning given, but overall I wasn't entertained. The first thought I had when I read "100%" was that you'd be collecting all of the cards without glitches. I just don't think map completion is an obvious goal to strive for on this game. I'm voting no.

In addition to what everyone else said about a 100% run, I'd also like there to be some supers used as well. I'm voting no on this due to ending both the levels and competitions early.

What was the reason for choosing the Tony Hawk? I see he's tied with many for speed, but what else was there?

It takes first to 7 wins, then loops back to 0-0. No credits or anything, just the snake with ears looking beat up, or something... If you did all seven, then maybe I'd yes it. Here, I say no.

I think the reason for the wait around 37000 was because he had no health left and had to wait for the explosion to clear? Anyway, Flip seemed to abuse the speed boosts very well, especially in the levels where he cleared all of it in one jump. Voting yes.

Not sure how to vote... I don't really agree with this route for a TAS. I'd rather a non-100% run go through the main route for the best ending. This site's style is usually that if a different path can be take for the same result, then nothing is wrong (e.g.: Mario games with world warps)... The run was very optimized, but I really don't think it was enough to judge. In the end, voting Meh.

Which improvements/bomb upgrades/materials would you suggest getting? The RC bombs might speed things up and can be gotten early, but require decent karabon and several battles... If the oasis could be manipulated to appear on the way to the Volcano, then it'd probably be worth it to get Elekong?

I voted Meh. I liked it, but knew more could be done. I would rather show someone outside the community the current run than this one.

No. Sorry, even without the other submissions, there were to many missed grabs/hits/fireballs and generally bad choices to be a good run. Should we make a guideline for submitting SSB runs... Like "Must not be submitted".

That's a great new goal for a speedrun: "Makes main character look strangely incompetent." Great progress. Very Speedy.

The only complaint I have is that you didn't mess with the computer nearly as much as I'd hoped. There were several times that you were lapping, armed with 10 rockets, and didn't do anything. that really pissed me off kinda. I would have loved it if you shot one into each person in cases like that. As well, IIRC you didn't use any oil slicks that you got, when you could guarantee it makes contact easily. About Drumstick, couldn't you easily unlock him in one of the Genie's challenges? On a close tangent, couldn't the hovercraft challenge be faster by instead of going under the arch of the ramp in the begining, to go around to the right? Anyway, definite yes vote from me. I've played this game more than any other (except for SSB) still to this day. I loved how you made the computers look like complete idiots for trying to drive straight on a straightaway... even though you didn't use the level of violence I was hoping for.

Would it be better to have the three remaining nations spread across different continents, so that you'll have less additional troops to place round 2?

I guess I'll start work with the U version, sorry Viewer. I'll post what I can in a few days.

No from me. Way too sloppy in places that could have been fixed with using a single rerecord or just playing at a speed less than 75%.

I haven't made any physical progress on this run, just watching the old one in FA and taking note of items in the way, as I'm still unsure on what version I should be using. I know that usually we're supposed to keep the same version when obsoleting, but there doesn't seem much reason to use the (E) version other than that. We're also supposed to try to use the (U) version wherever possible out of standard protocol. Can any of the Judges let me know what I should do?

Besides, I know Malva... I doubt he could do a run like that
Blasphemy! Anyway, the missed hits on the dairs look sloppy. I think they're still getting killed a little too fast... Maybe knock them off, let them fall to where they couldn't recover, then u-air them back to the stage, and make it back yourself?

How long do you expect the run to take? And what does the power do anyway?

I looked over the WIP in frame advance, and some parts looked impressive, while others, mostly when it came to sucking, were a bit sloppy. You should really try to find the best button sequence when wall jumping. I saw that you could have hit B at least a frame sooner on each wall jump. You should hold B the entire time with one frame of rest I believe 1 frame after you hit Y, which you should be pressed for one frame. Check me on that though.. For dealing with enemies, you did very well. I still don't see how you avoided that one watermelon dropper that passed through your head...
