Excellent. It keeps getting better and better as the stages get harder. Keep it up. :)

Are you serious? I feel bad for Atma's 100% WIP...
Post fixed. Anyway, seeing two 100% movies can't be for the worse. ;) I haven't seen nor couldn't turn it up with a fast forum search. Care to throw me a link?

Not half bad first attempt. :) Also, the game seems to lend itself fairly well to running. Platformers also tend to be rather popular. Anyway, looking forward to seeing more. For other stuff, flying horizantally seemed rather (read: extremely) slow compared to other moving, so I'm asking if the enemies can't be abused more to remove those parts totally?

Looks good, using lasers ftw. Also, for anyone looking for "contraj.nes", this game was actually called Gryzor is Japan, so the rom you need is Gryzor (J). EDIT: Maybe obsolete that 1P pacifist run with this run? 2 player run is more impressive.

Hmm, foo_gep doesn't want to work for me. :( This is what I get when I try to load the aforementioned Mega Turrican soundtrack:
Unable to open item for playback (Unsupported format or corrupted file): "C:\gep\Mega Turrican\Mega Turrican - 01 - Opening Logos.vgz"
foo_gep shows in the component list though. Something I'm missing here?

Did the codecs once again change?? I have Windows Media Player 10 with ffdshow codec installed which I though was the latest codec for playing .avi files. If someone could enlighten me on this. BTW, I also read the discussion about the codecs and still I have not solved my problem. Also, I downloaded Matroska and I have no idea what I'm doing with that. Please Help Thanks
To play files in matroska container you need to install the matroska splitter or alternatively choose a media player which has the functionality built in (such as mediaplayer classic). Matroska splitter can be found here: http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=82303 For the other problem, I suggest you update your ffdshow to the latest version. Files encoded with h264 have been notorius about codec version changes.

I'll go meh on this one. I was mildly entertained, but the play value of this game might have warranted a run of 5 minutes, not 50. The games where they used classic games as inspiration were nice, but apart from those it got old fast. I suggest you take on a different game, something where you can actually make it shorter by using tools. ;) And posting WIPs on the way is a good practice if you don't know how you run will be welcomed here.

This game is delightfully broken. Previous run was very good, this is better.

Hastur I presume. But the name you weren't supposed to mention was Yog'Sothoth/Marduk, not Hastur.
True, the notion that only speaking Hastur's name would be doom and destruction and the related carnage, was used in the gaming side of cthulhu mythos. I'm thinking mainly Call of Cthulhu and Cults across America-boardgame, you can even see the actual Summon Hastur -card here, including the rule about not mentioning him/her/it.

I think the people at Wolfteam have no idea what they have done. By uttering the name of Him Who Is Not to be Named (or The King in Yellow) they will be bring doom upon themselves. And this game does so several times! /EDIT: Fixored some brainfarts.

Extremely well done. You even made the luck manipulation look so effortless, that's worth a commendation.

I can't seem to download the fceu, are you sure the link is correct? yes i deleted the last four letters in the link (.heh)
You need to download it with the exact link provided and when you got the file (fceu.exe.heh) on your computer, you rename the file removing the .heh ultimately resulting in fceu.exe.

An easy yes, you make the game seem so easy. A lot of planning has gone into this and it shows. Great job. :)

Hmm, I have somehow completely missed this game. Anyway, I did some digging and I'm already looking forward to seeing this. And regarding the name, my opinion is that it's up to author to decide what to put there.

Baxter basically summarized what I wanted to say. It doesn't look impressive. I'm not implying the play is flawed in any way, but the game lends itself to moviepurposes as well as any sidescroller does. The game has too many boring sequences where you just wait for the object for the level in question to drop. Sure, you can play around with the enemies, but in a limited enviroment game like this you exhaust your options quite quickly. I'll go for no, because of bad game choice for movie purposes.
