same as the others, one can see that you put effort in the TAS and so i hope that you continue with TASing but yeah this hack doesn´t seem to give me much "wow effects" voting no for the submission

@EZGames i tried to add the GB Bios and sync it but it just doesn't work at my end - sorry :/ @mklip: the hard knuckle glitch was also used in the last run, but without knowledge of RNG, routing and using all of the possible timesavers was just impossible. I haven´t really figured out what´s causing the glitch, if i had to guess Value "0x0F1D" 1-byte, unsigned: - is 0 when megaman is on solid ground - is 1 when megaman is ascending - is 3 when megaman is falling - is 4/7/8 when climbing a ladder/reaching the top of a ladder - is 12/14(unsure if its 14 but something like that) when going through a screen transition the hard knuckle has a weird behaviour, if 0x0F1D is 3 and you shoot 0x0F1D changes to 15 which makes megaman air-stuck ( he just stands still in the air for several frames) 0x0F1D changes to 0 (megaman should be standing on solid ground) this gives us 2 options: 1) Airjumping as seen in the wily stage to skip the appearing platforms 2) skipping screens for whatever reason and yeah it lets you skip some stuff: In Topman for example you skip the first and second big Cat-enemy In wily you skip the 2nd room with the spike floor, and also the dumb climbing-session completely

Oh, seems like i forgot to implement the version differences - i now added those to the submission, thank you challenger there´s only 1 useful difference, hence i used the EU version in Topmanstage there´s a block missing, which allows to slide underneath a Metdozer, my rough estimate is a save of ~30 frames for that..

Oh good now i can question this openly, I saw some SMW:Hacks here already "The legend continues" or "Kaizo" so my question was if the "Vip&Wall Series" would also be a good choice. it has definitely unique mechanics and quirks.

I mean edit the movie file directly.
I'm still unsure What You mean with this sry :/
So why we must use Bizhawk? It's unstable (currently at least) as you metioned. VBA-rr is still acceptable, has no obvious bugs playing this game and, is good, easy-to-use enough.
VBA has several "Bugs" - It runs 60fps flat opposed to the original 59,7275006 FPS for the Gameboy - it emulates several lagframes as only 1 Just to Name a few.
Some color palettes are still much better than only black-and-white screen, in my opinion.
Mh, You can argue with it, but in the end it s preference.
I'm sorry for making you feel bad, but it's my thoughts.
Dont worry i dont Feel Bad because of it, i'm just wondering.

i dont really know what you mean with TAS editor - this run was started, as mothrayas mentioned, before we could use the SGB mode in Bizhawk. therefore i had no real option on doing a SGB run of this. the next thing is - you know what SGB mode gives us? literally nothing except a border around the game and some color palettes - nothing gameplay-wise changes. idk i feel a little irritated that you vote "no" on this submission purely because of GB-mode instead of SGB-mode. if you say this movie isn´t entertaining because there are a lot of boring parts and the gameplay sucked i have no problem with it, but purely because the version is different.. idk - feels bad man. just my 2 cents

As mothrayas already stated faster gamestart, there is a lot less lag in some spots which is really nice and, eventhough it doesn´t count for a TAS, the dialog boxes make up for 28 seconds of playtime. gameplay wise the only difference is that the Grab-buster is changed to Snatch-buster or vice versa i dont really remember.

Great TAS. Yes vote. By the way, the second screenshot suggested has been taken after the movie end, right? I'm not sure if that would be applicable.
I was asking moth if it was okay to have a screenshot after the movie ends, he told me then it would be better to have a screenshot from ingame actions, so i´m surprised it even got into consideration :D i´m ok with the other one :)
