Looks really nice. I dont remember the previous versions taking the hammer from the other side of the barrier, is that a new discovery?

I defintely wasn't lazy with this run.
Then I guess that narrows it down.

If its not even updated to tricks that have been known by the author for 2 years, its technical quality is not very high. Leaving out stuff like that intentionally is either lazy or obnoxious. A good run should be neither. Also-- Your submission text says that you aim for both in game time as well as real time, but in which order? In order to avoid another ugly, annoying discussion about this in the future, you should say which has been minimized.

Amusing. Good marks from me, a lot of weirdness from a rather weird game.

Is this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3LLwcB5-WcE method faster then what was used in the video? It looks like it, but I have been wrong before. The video says you found this trick, but it really really looks like the video is faster then what was used in the run.

First of all, the common courtesy in this forum is to post in an existing thread when possible to avoid having many treads on the same game, so you may want to post in the mario 64 thread. That said, I think there is some room for a 70 star run, but its goals would need to be defined such that BLJ is omitted to justify the need for 70 stars. (otherwise it would lead to silliness like getting the 70th star in the third bowser level, undermining the spirit of the run) If someone wants to make this, I can tell you that I would be interested for sure.

I really don't care for the long boss fights. Well made it looked like, but not so hot for entertainment. Also, as you pointed out, publishing a "kinda low %" is a little silly, but that's not my decision.

More then anything, I hope this does not de-rail the run, I was really enjoying watching your progress.

Nice! high marks here, but I want to note that I never did get it to sync properly, ended up watching it in your youtube channel. anyway, fun to watch, and just the right length for what it is.

You should put up a redirect to meatspin so as to PUNISH the use of www. Just an idea. A bad one.

It is different then the one that it sued in the glitch run because it uses different kinds of staircases, but the smart money would be on finishing without it, and listing it as a possible improvement.

he might want help using winrar to pack up an image file with a rom... I'm not sure how exactly, (it depends on what platform you are on, but for windows XP put them into a file and right click to "add to archive"), but that's my reading of that auto translated mess.

I like the new voting system, and I think the forums have gotten generally better ever since I have started here. I welcome the change.

that was badass. Exactly the kind of thing that makes a 120 star run worth watching.

I'm also going to work on a glitchfest type meant to abuse the word recognition as much as possible, since I think that would be much more entertaining.
I did like the publication, but one that makes use of the recognition for evil might be way more entertaining. cup of urine is a good example, but spelling out insults or whatever might be drop dead hilarious if done properly.

Not to condone pointless numbers of concept demos, but this could easily be epic enough to warrant publication.

Your link there shows that testing -is- being done, by industry, and governmental organizations alike. This all centers on unpublished tests from the FDA. He wants them public, which is understandable, but I think its just plain silly to assume the tests weren't done if the results are not public. At best, he is making a mountain out of a mole hill.

This is one elaborate deception if its fake. Not many people could fake that so convincingly, I really think it might be real.

Is it really idiocy to ask for some test results, which should be public domain anyways?
None of their other tests are, why are these tests different? People act like information that is not in the public domain must not exist. I'm not saying there is no possibility of contamination, because you cant prove a universal negative. All I'm saying is that he has no evidence what so ever.
The US should, at the very least, test SOME candy
they did. Its what the FDA does. They just don't publish it.
Now, why would whole countries be pulling candy off their shelves sent from China? Just for shits and giggles? No. Evidence of a possible poison in the candy?
Here is a list of countries: Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Burundi, Cameroon, Chile, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Gabon, India, Ivory Coast, Maldives, Mali, Nepal, Papua New Guinea, Paraguay, South Korea, Suriname, Tanzania, Togo, and the United Arab Emirates. Notice anything? He acts like the US government is the only one stupid enough to import from china, but you see any common thread between the countries on that list? I wonder how many tests the FDA of Mali did before imposing that ban. That, or they may have imposed a ban in order to avoid the need for the tests. So the question is, which do you trust more? the FDA standards in the US (which deemed this food safe) or the reasoning of the countries on that list, who may not have done any tests at all. bottom line: US Government agencies that deemed it safe: 1 Evidence suggesting its not: 0 Unless you think the Ivory coast knows something we don't, their bans are just a response to fear, not actual reason. How about this, lets go ahead and spread the word, and hale this fat idiot as the hero he is as soon as he can site even a single shred of evidence that his chocolate is tainted.

He admits that the products were deemed safe by the FDA. He whines about the tests not being public, but that's not standard procedure, so his complaints are neither here nor there. Watch the video and wait for his first piece of actual evidence, and you will realize all he found is a common food additive in a food product, and a label that said made in china. He is an idiot for ignoring the fact that the only tests done of the candy deemed it safe. We have one FDA test that says its safe, and one fat idiot that has dreamed up a conspiracy based on no evidence that says its not. Believe whichever side you want.
