Just show off destructive interference. Its easy to set up, and its impressive to most people. All you need is 2 tones that are only off by a little bit, f and f# tend to work well. you will hear they sound level go up and down drastically as the waves interfere with each other.

I feel weird siding with Comicalflop, but I think I want to go with no. I don't think that there is enough of a difference to make the real time run and the game time run worth publishing side by side, and I think that real time is more impressive to watch.

awesome! I liked the end of the 4th (I think) where you manage to wreck after the race is won.

Its starting to seem like improvements are being found, and the run re-started at a rate greater then the progress in the run itself. It stands out because it is almost certainly the published run with the greatest amount of known improvements. It will be a real thing of beauty when it finally does reach completion, but the pursuit of perfection can be a bitch sometimes.

Meh... I don't see why this is terribly important. It may be somewhat inaccurate, but it communicates the critical information it was intended to.

How close is the run that is currently in the works to being submitted?

Looking really good. I am surprised that you have found this much improvement in the published run already, and to think there will be so much more!

I am really, really interested in seeing this. Even if you do have to re-do to run, I would like to see what you had that was 4 minutes ahead. This is turning out to be an incredible improvement.

I have 3 of the halo 1 cds, and I never even paid for it once. Used to host small lans for it, and people managed to leave copies behind!

very nice. I like to see improvements to such an optimized run, however slight they may be.

and to think I was pissed because I ended up with 2 copies of haflife thanks to the orange box. Not the same thing, but something funny was that I had rented smashbros. for the N64 about 5 times before I finally bought it. I feel l like I paid for it twice.

A very so-so game, but the run was entertaining enough. Yes vote. I had no idea you got to shoot down the space shuttle at the end!

The logic behind it is what is more interesting. All you really need to do is figure out how many 5s are in the prime factorization of x, because a trailing zero is caused by the existance of both a 2 and a 5 in the factorization, and its simple to show we have excess 2s.

Write a function which, for an integer n, gives the number of trailing zeroes in n!.
int(n/5^1)+int(n/5^2)+int(n/5^3)+int(n/5^4)... where int(x) returns the value of x, with any decmal value truncated away I think it ought to work.
