VII VIII I in that order. What strikes me is that they have really strayed from the path ever since number 8. I mean, they went on to have the main character have a tail, to having a leveling system that was totally broken (every job lol?) to an MMO. XII is getting closer to the point, but the day I realized that I could set things up in a way that I was no longer needed by the game, I just felt dirty. They really need to get back to the baisics. I appriciate that they try new thigns, but I really felt like every title since 8 has been ruined for one reason or another.

I want to stress that I only voted no because the game is boring... My previous posts came off a bit confrontational. This was a well made run of a boring game, which resulted in a boring run.

Well, if you would read the submission text you'd know that that's not what I'm trying to do.
It is a run of air, and you are trying to get it published. You want it to obsolete an existing run, which as far as I am concerned is not important. I voted no because it was a boaring run of a boaring game. I really dont get why there is so much intrest in air. Of all the hacks of that game that are available, I find that one to be one of the most dull.

I dont really see the point in publishing another run of air. This is more entertaining then the last one, but that doesnt automatically make it publish worthy.

The long version was classic... When the other guy join in with the super low faulty voice box thing I would have laughed as well. Shame they fired the guy for laughing at a clearly funny situation.

I had something similar happen... I beat him to receive a time of 42, but done sloppily, by hand. Im not really sure what caused it to happen, or if there may have been some random event that caused me to be lucky, but im not sure.

all this proves is that there is no point to posting a youtube video if you arnt ready to share how the trick works, and be ready with the files to prove it. Otherwise, it comes off as the ultimate dick move.

Whatever, it was funny. You know you procrastinate too much when you see a sunrise and think "give me more time"

Ok, tried it out. the NWC 1990 cart is not suitable for a tas, because the times is officially, bugged. even loading and saving save states is enough to upset the timer. Unless this is fixed, there is no way a tas can be made.

If getting 999,999 in tetris is possable, then a tas would want to spend more time playing mario or rad racer. I think this would pose an interisting sort of path challange, where to use time most effectivly.

Was messing around with this game earlier today, and he might be right. There does seem to be some sort of emulation issue with the stop time in FCE and the rom version I have. Suck if this kills the possability of making a run of this game.

If you want a REALLY crappy TAS, run lemmings. I did the first 10 or so levels once, and no matter what you do, it takes forever for the damn things to walk to the end.
