I never really got a good feel for it... Was it supposed to be set in the present? I dont remember any mention of technology more advanced then trains... Harry may have to settle for a Tommy gun

At least it was short. Tasing the other pokemon games is about as intresting as those wonderful runs of monopoly. Probably the only yes vote I will ever give to a pokemon run. What is entertaining for 5 minutes is often not the same as what is entertaining for an hour and a half.

Looks good so far. Keep in mind that even though you cant win on turn one, make sure all territories you dont control have only 1 army on them so that they cant attack, making the movie shorter.

As a comcept demo, I will make no comment about the questionable goals, but I still found it really, really bland.

Why did you collect the 100 coin stars in some levels, but didnt in BoB? Did you have enough already?

It's times like these I think about how stupid the average person is, then realize that if I sampled 100 people, odds are that 50 of those people are dumber than that. Its why bush is president, and its why we have such amusing comments to read.

Boring.as.sin. You did a good job for the game you were doing, but jesus this is just one miserable, long, uninteristing movie. I really wish that the result of this much effort could have been more entertaining, but there is something about this game that is just miserable to watch.
put it on 200% speed.
one way you can be sure that something is too long, too slow, or boring.... Or possably all three.

After figuring out that everything except plasma towers is useless, I managed to beat levels 2-5 on my first try. However, I lost on wave 72 of level 6. That level is stupid hard, actually, it's probably impossible to beat unless you have infinite money (as demonstrated by Bisqwit).
I have survived 72, but only because I leaked heavily. One thing that helps-- the second most upgraded anti air towers seems more cost effective then the max upgraded ones. Dunno if that really makes a difference. Edit: http://www.mypicshare.com/dl5uoozmpic.html Your layout is way better then the one I had been using. played well, you might be ale to get into the 80s with it.

He is probably right. I dont think it is possable. Far as I can get legit is level 77... died there 3 times now. http://www.mypicshare.com/5rxpy01hpic.html I have done it with and without plasme, with and without slowing towers. this time was nothing but plasma and anti air towers, but I dont think there is really any way it can be done.

Died in level 76 of level 6... you need at least 5 red AA towers by that point I guess =/ Edit: Bisquit-- There is a far more effective way of laying out your base. Keep in mind that you can collect an entire wave (more or less) on 6 hypersonic towers (with the help of a zero tower), and when they are stacked on top of eachother, let max level SAM sites blow the shit out of them. with infinate money, I dont think you would use a single plasma; AOE is just too important.

What is the best way of getting sound off of an AVI? To be clear: what I have is an avi movie, what I need is an MP3 of the audio from it. I bet its not too hard, but I can't think of a good way of doing it. [EDIT by Bisqwit: Replaced thread title with a more descriptive one. Was "Probably simple question". <BagOfMagicFood> Can you imagine if every topic was called something like "I have an idea" or "I have a question" ]

Okay I hope nobody have seen this. Viewer discretion is strongly advised. http://www.youtube.com/watch?search=&mode=related&v=-SHYoyUaSL0 This is such a sad story. Im so god damn outraged that they killed the lion. Mankind, what a joke.
I have a better joke!
Video footage shot 45min into the attack.
I have an idea. If a lion sinks its teeth into the neck of a person, just pop a cap in its ass. That guy could have died, and you are worried about the lion? What Im worried about is the moral compass of the person who could watch that shit for half an hour and not take the lion out.

Whichever you decide, this is something I would like to see. personally, I think the SNES version might be a better call if only because (I think) more people played it there then they did on the GBA. People like the version they are most used to.

How sure are we that this is a real game glitch and not some sort of emulation problem? Just seems strange is all, I liked the movie.

I still think a 70 star glitchless run would be fun to watch, and it will only be more needed if this causes the any% runs to not even collect a star.

Then what is the right way? Dont tell us its wrong, that you tested it, and leave us hanging as to what to proper method is.
