There was a mode in the time warp of doctor brain that kind of reminds me of that. (gridlock)
It is different because the units had a fixed start location, and you had to adjust which way they would turn at intersections. The primary difficulty was in avoiding collisions, but I bet the overall feel is similar.

There really is nothing more to say when it is in the same catagory as a published movie but does not obsolete it.
I appreciate your interest in the process of tasing, and I hope that a rejection will not discourage you to try to actually beat the current published movie.
Good luck in future attempts

Going to vote meh I'm afraid. I couldn't sit through it without getting bored and doing something else, which tends to be my threshold for a yes vote.
Still seemed well done from what I saw. I realize how much work this must have been, so compliments are still in order!

Is the state of the reset switch of a console even sampled based on frames? My understanding was that it physically caused the reset to take place, and was not handled in the actual software.
What controls outside of the controllers are acceptable?

It is worse because your money will not go to some lazy shit who steals from stupid people, it goes to supplying a militia.
We do not know what is best for the people of that region, and pretending that watching videos on the internet gives you proper perspective is insulting to their struggle.

So let me get this straight--
You want a run to be accepted that violates the rules of this site, and no one can even say for sure what time would be required of a (English) run that does follow the rules to be faster than it? (excluding text differences)

Not really. It was mentioned a few pages back that the length of the cut-scenes could effect route choice, so it is not that simple.
That said, it probably didn't but it is notable that it could.

Yes, but where and when was it decided that it should not use RBA? His submission text never mentions it.
The fact no one has run it with RBA before does not mean that it is outside of the category. Sometimes new glitches are discovered, and unless the category is modified to make them illegal, they would obviously become fair game. Take a look at the history of mario 64 for good examples of this.
So if you want to define the category to exclude RBA, fine. Just do so clearly, and don't act like it is obvious that it should be excluded; as it is just an arbitrary choice.

Well put.
What bothers me about that decision is that it is yet another run that shamelessly abuses glitches, but has a few that are not used because they are too game breaking.
And who precisely is the "we" you are talking about when you said "That's just how we define it", and why is their opinion about constraints on a speed run important enough to warrant a category here?
