Assisted, creation through Hell Baal
you must be kidding. what would we see in such a movie? your char standing in the corner and waiting for a townportal. not that entertaining at all.

Gens has issues loading states if the audio track loaded differs from the one currently playing.
maybe but if you just delete the containing mp3 files there will be no background music but the sound is ok. on this way it would be possible to rerecord a run.

I finished it at 37.30 min at best. Teoretically I think you can do it within 20 min. The opponents serve gem takes at least 1-1.5 min. to brake so this time will be hard to reach even if you instantly serve aces. Anyone who have come near this time?

I tried unchecking the Max box (In the Speed Config window), and its still flying through. As for the hacked version, I've since run a scandisk and a defrag and I no longer get that error, but it still flies through superfast just like the other App. Thanks again for the help

I would much rather see a run that goes through the game once and uses a variety of weapons; even though they might not be the best weapons to use it might make it more interesting. I don't understand why people want to see a full run of this game; the final boss battle isn't particularly entertaining nor is having to sit through the game a second time to see it. And yes, play it on the (U) version.
That's a good idea Deviance. But maybe u could just start recording once u've completed the first half of the game; that way u'll get the footage of Asutaroto and Sardius (final boss) in just one run. Wpn variety would b nice too (usin that whack tri-blade and the hefty axe)

Hey, I've recently jumped on the scene and I've been trying to get Famtasia to work correctly, but I've been having some problems. With just the standard Famtasia, it just runs super super fast, and I can't figure out what settings to use to slow it down. As for the Famtasia hacked version, it'll load fine, but as soon as I try to open any Rom file, I get this Windows error: "The instruction at "0x00430e3d" referenced memory at "0x008e1980". the memory could not be "written"" I'm running a P3 with 256 MB Ram on Win XP Pro SP1. Anyone have any ideas for fixes?

i just jumped right in..and deflected his fire..then wailed on him...the deflection looks very kewl...so even a minor loss of time isn't that pertinent..not like its the easiest game in the world anyways...lol...

I think I will attempt to get to that boss so I can give you some feedback on it...I have never played this game previously, and was pleasantly surprised that it was a fun game...So, I will edit this message shortly once I get to the boss in question...

this, one of the worst ever made nes games...is also one of the few american developed games on nes...heh...I am not even going to vote on this one since I hate the game completely...not because of its challenge...just because its very boring and not fun at all...It truly gives the silver surfer a bad name...But, try your hand at a more decent shooter or nes game...and, I will definitely have a look-see...

Awesome, josh im glad someone took the time to do this game. One thing to realize though on all my timeattacks is that i played them on full speed becuase speed slowing never worked right for me. Most of your optimizations were because of speed slowing to achieve better movements and timing. Much props and appreciation for this GREAT JOB!. Evilheart

great choice for a time attack, I look forward to the final product...genesis is definitely full of games to time attack...most of the best nes ones have already been done...but genesis is barely scratched, surface wise... imagine someone doing a gargoyles time attack...heh,,,that would be the day...

do it like the track and field time attack, where each try of an event is slightly different, like maybe the first being purposely done bad...the second showcasing a funny glitch..and the third being flawless... there are bound to be some glitches and tricks in the game, simply due to the nature of the game

I've beaten SG'nG plenty of times on professional and I own it so I still play this game all the time. It was cool to see someone make a speed run of this game; I've done the same thing on my SNES except all mine were done using only Steel Armor and Lance and I still managed to beat many of his times. I've seen the replay (I didnt know that one jump in lvl1 was possible!) More jumps will get u a faster time btw. Also, I dont respect the fact that it was done on the E version. E version is a lot slower and some of the enemies were removed to make the game easier. The U version would have been more impressive.

For reasons not Phills fault, this movie was boring. But I voted yes, because it's as fast and perfict as I saw possible. but can't you shoot some of the stage objects? If they degrade your accuricy or not, I don't know. I am not recommending you redo this video over that, I would never curse some one with the request to run this game twice.

I am a fan of Ring King. I found this video to be entertainming, but short. I voted yes, because it was very well made. Though ultimate, though I understand the limited intrest in this game, I desire to see a longer run. I feel this video is entertaining enough to be published.

figures, many requests for a metal gear time attack..and the one person who does one...gets it rejected...It is a game that requires mucho planning...hopefully his final revision won't be rejected as badly as this one...

you directly recording the avi...? In recording normally , in playback the game doesnt mimic the moves properly...at least on my end...As far as the time attack...You would definitely want to do the entire game from beginning to end...including the advanced stages...

after beating many games you start back at level 1,,,who in the hell would want to watch an endless time attack of the same levels over and over again, especially when in doing the same levels, you risk complete boredom to the viewer if you repeat the same movements...movements of which are most probably the same due to optimizations...

people are too picky sometimes...Jaws boasts a short video that isn't at all boring since it IS so short, and it is very well done...It is definitely not that easy to avoid final fantasy style fights...I can bet you started the time attack over again a few times..due to the randomization of them within the game...I definitely voted yes for it...Even the music is pretty catchy...:)
