Thought I'd chime in on this--I'd watch a Uniracers video. There is enough variety in the tracks I don't think it would get boring to watch. Also, some unsolicited help--The best trick combo I ever came up with (and pulled off) was as follows: Z Flip--Twister City--Z Flip--Roll/Flip* *The final Roll/Flip(s) can only be done on a few tracks with the biggest jumps--I just tack it on whenever I've got enough airtime to stick something else in. Because of the initial Z Flip, the Twists are performed while upside-down, which gets you either big points or lots of speed, depending on what mode you're in.

Heh, no problem. I'm glad to help. I only know the castlevania exit. I got a pretty good idea where the exit from Fuu's level since the game is very linear. It might be located at the very end of the line. I'll check it out. EDIT: Appearencely there isn't an exit on Fuu's level

Did you know there was a secret exit teleporter in the Castlevania where Dracula lies? I found it by accident when I jumped up the platforms to defeat Dracula. It is located near the invisible stairs on a platform far right. You shouldn't miss it. I can't wait to see this run, since this game was difficult,

I really agree with Cazlab on MMX. It is a pretty hard game, especially when playing it without upgrades, only using the X-Buster, and NOT using a Turbo pad. I've never played Mars Matrix, know where I can get a copy? Oh, and in case you can't tell from my MMX comment, I only use the X-Buster in every single MMX game I've played.

Jumping at the first flower (over the first pit) will take you to the pacific world. Jumping over the magnet (only one in the stage) in the first pacific world will take you to Japan. I don't remember what the other warps are though =(

according to my "full romset" it's part of the europe folder, so maybe it's just an odd mistake in europe mixing up the two other versions of football...

Eh, whatever. Keep in mind I hadn't played the game in years.

Wow. I registered an account here just so I could say how incredibly awesome that run was. It's THAT good.

When trying to load Link no Bouken, I get this error message:
Disksystem BIOS load failed. [file path]\disksys.rom
Since the listed file path is correct, I would suspect that the problem is that there is no file called "disksys.rom". Anybody know where I can find it?

Startropics 1 & 2 both flat out crash. Otherwise, I'd probably make one for Startropics 2.

I would really like to have general discussion about beginners asking questions from pro gamers about snes games under this topic. If this isn't possible I humbly beg your pardon bisqwit for wasting your time. My problem is that I was recently doing a non-tool assisted speed run on my snes, but it broke down and now I'm have several troubles with emulators. I wonder how do you manage to go running speed by using a morph ball and I got troubles doing 45 boost jump (that I've seen used in maridia in few speed runs). It was quite easyish with snes but I honestly don't know what am I doing wrong in my emulator speed run. Oh and btw I had about 23mins gone when my snes broke and I just had defeated draygon.

so we can get rid of Varia suit. I have played without it many times, and the gravity suit works fine on it's own. The stats DONT Stack. edit: my bad, should read more carefully

It's not humanly possible, but you could get away with: gravity suit 1 energy tank charge beam ice beam bombs morph ball 1 missile pack 1 super missile pack 1 power bomb pack you'd avoid getting the missile pack on the way to the wrecked ship by wall jumping the little block that the missile is on top of from the left side, then jumping from the right side, then laying a bomb and getting across this might not actually be possible, but i'm pretty sure you could.

I've played Doom I and Doom 3 and they are nothing alike. Even if u would have memorized every single pixel in Doom I it wouldn't help u at all in Doom 3 imo.

I have not seen an attempt at this game yet so, I wanted to try. It's a scrolling shooter game, with very fast enemy bullets and it is kinda hard. Posting the first level to see if it is worth doing the rest. Does 4 mistakes. - Shoots an enemy - Dies once - Waiting to kill a Mid-boss ( Wanted to see if you needed to kill it) - The boss dies to slow. All mistakes was because of me saving bad =) Will redo it if people wants to see the rest of the levels http://217.208.109.49/snesvid/Strike_Gunner_(U)_[!].zip

Well they do curl down if you are moving forward on your jump. But not if you are just facing forward. I didnt extensively test this and only observed it in a few rooms. I doubt it shows much in normal play since you are pretty much always moving forward. Try only using the jump and fire button (no dpad) to see the trouble in getting them to curl down.

lol. so what is worth watching in ur opinion?
Games that require a lot of dexterity, have a decent amount of fun bugs, or both. Deja Vu has neither, and i've seen runs for far less boring games get rejected due to being a snooze to watch. [EDIT by feitclub - sorry, no flaming allowed here]

I usually kill either Bit or Byte with a regular shot to make them combine at the end. Very easy and fast boss to kill, if you compare to the evul waste disposer. Vile might be worth it as, you need to kill him anyway. And at Volt stage, the Vile portal is almost at the beginning of the stage. But I don't like the non-destroyed Sigma 2nd stage, instead of the destroyed one. The Z-saber makes quick work of any boss in the game, two hits from it is enough to kill them. But don't you need the upgraded X buster for it? And I play the PS version of the game, so some stuff is changed there. One big big difference is that you can get the upgraded Air dash from Toxic's with nothing more then the Air dash. EDIT: You just need to jump when Buffalo turns around to get him charge in the wall again.

The best way to get money in the beginning (when you have no rank) is to kill the wyvern (first boss). He gives you 720 gold and you can do this repeatedly. Later on, when you reach about the "Hero" rank or higher, it is better to spend your money, die, then resurrect with a fresh supply. However, I'm interested in seeing if anybody has found any major glitches in the game to be exploited. I've been messing around with items and getting hit with monsters in certain places, etc., but to no avail. Has anyone found something else? -NV

I'm also currently working on this game. I've gone through it a couple of times and looking into fastest possible times for defeating bosses. As it was mentioned before, this game does require a significant amount of money, but there are a lot of shortcuts to getting it. If you're working on this game as well, pm me to discuss. -NV
