I was wondering if someone could tell me or point me to a site on how some of the things in this video occured? For example not running into any monsters and almost constently getting critical hits. I remember playing Dragon Warrior back in the day but never had this good of luck heh.

anyone knows 'solar jetman' for nes? it was a game made by 'rare'. seemed to be unbeatable for me when i got it for christmas long time ago :D

I am a cartridge collector I haven't bought any new games in a while but currently I have about 400 (that is including 23 unlicensed carts and one pirate one). Now that I am into speed runs I am wanting to get new games just to do runs on them :) Little Samson for example, that was one of my favorite NES games before I even knew it had been brought to the US. I want to get a copy to try a speed run on but unfortunately it is somewhat uncommon

Well, i have all the codeks and the video works and doesen't crash BUT: i cannot see the picture... I can only hear the sound... -.- Could anyone tell what's wrong?

I have tried screen capturing videos of NES movies and they work fine. I try doing the same thing with ZSNES movies and they fumble around. I have a fast computer, (P4 2.56 ghz, 128mb geforce 4 4400, gig of RAM) and this still happens. Do any of you know of any way to get a zsnes movie to avi or mpeg? any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

As "cat" already has mentioned, it is probably a codec problem. Download the newest XviD-Codec. You could also download ffdshow |Battery|

LOL no cheating In fact my method doesn't use the grenade glitch It's just that Lezard missed a lot of the shortcuts that I know

Hi there! I was wondering, is there going to be an avi on the zelda 2 run? I know it´s a big one but really really wanna see it since it is one of my childhoods first/favorite encounter with the NES... I tried to make famtasia work on my computer so that I could run the fmv but it hasn't worked...

I have the same problem with the file. Explorer.exe crashes even if I try to rename the file. What is the correct md5sum of the file? Mine is d713780631d4f3a8469a1ac0c458f169.

I hate bittorrent so much. Angers me when I see people dl at 150kbps and I'm always chugging along at 2kbps. Although Shadow's is a good client and has sped things up more than the official client, it's still slow going. But it's more efficient to have files from this site on bt because it's les of a burden on Bisqwit. Would cost the poor guy more than what he's paying to keep things afloat here.

When playing 50+ levels, a fraction of a second is just silly. The movie can probably be made a minute faster, but this is a start, at least.

I finished a jaws time attack. I fist played this game for a few minutes then in about 30 more i had the time attack finished. The game is very simple to beat and since most of the levels have set amounts of time i doubt this time can be improved very much. I did make a few mistakes in this video which i tried to correct about 100 times but no matter what i do the recording breaks in the first water scene. I lost the .vmv file for this game so you'll ahve to DL the .avi i made which i will post the link to very soon. Evilheart

Monster party is finally finished! I was aiming for under 20 minutes and i got just that. My final time was 17:46, i know this time can be improved by 10-30 seconds of small errors through out the game. It isn't incredibly boring to watch allthough the game dynamics are quite repetitive. True - I guess it'd be difficult to make an interesting video for an arcade game as, for most of the older ones at least, you can simply play them on into eternity or near-eternity.

Are there any videos of superplays for arcade games anywhere? Games like Pac-Man and Asteroids and others are among the most famous games to superplay, for high scores and such. Are there videos of these feats anywhere? I've looked high and low, and can't find any. If indeed there are none, somebody should make some!!!

I don't recall the actual name of the creature, but for example, there is one at the end of level 4 right before the triforce piece.

This is sort of unrelated to the current discussion, but I was wondering if there is some trick to getting a fairy after killing the hydra bosses? I can't seem to get anything other than bombs or hearts from them.

I have played throw turtles(ntsc) with VirtuaNes. I have recording when I play this simple game without taking a single hit. If anyone want the .vmv file just tell me and I email you it. There is much to improve in my movie and I made it so it could be a guideline for a much more skilled person than I'm.
