WebNations: Is there any way to download the emulator movie file? I can only find the encoded movie.
there is no way to download the emulator files. this makes sense because of the following reasons. we have contests where the winner will get a prize for submitting the fastest run. i.e. dark fulgore got a zelda twilight princess for nintendo wii for his mk mythologies run. due to this we are not linking to the emulator files because these would be re-produced which would destroy the whole sense of these contests. for all other movies this could be added but due to being alone at work at the site i still got a HUGE to-do list. so this will be added for sure.
yep. and i see no disadvantage for any player. i give credit as much as possible. i do not steal anything because we encode those movies on ourselves so we do not cut the movies from here or similar. i just try to give something back to my biggest hobby ever. so i got the space i got the time and you get direct downloads and fame. many players even pushed me to publish it on youtube. i just fill the hole for people who can not encode their movies to missing time or knowledge by themselves or who are not capable of downloading with bittorrent. further it is not my intention to compete with this site here. i am a lurker of the first hour of this site. the players are our heroes and these heroes i want to encourage. as a player you can only profit by having multiple sites.
I don't think that he has just taken the movie files from here, some people also submit their movie files to his site as well as TASVideos.
some people submit, some send their runs with email and some just give me the link from here.
you all should not be that harsh about another site. some people will not like me for doing what i do and some other people do not like bisqwit and so on. on this way we are one big family where everyone can do as he likes to.

i started a speedrun site and uploaded my movies to google and someone tries to steal credits. just want to tell you, because i know you phil and genisto produce videos for this site here and someone abuses your names. here an example:

why i post here? i just want to inform you about this because it is pretty obvious that it is a member or lurker from here, some kind of fanboy because else he would not write nor know how like bisqwit writes the description of the movies. this is no offend or anything similar, just wanted to inform you about this.
