What about a 100% run? There is tons of extra stuff in the game, and it would be interesting to get them all. (The game keeps track of them too, remember)
that'd take days to complete.

Have you even played Super Mario Star Road? It's a very well made hack, and way better than Super Mario 74 (not that 74 wasn't fun). There's no way an any% or 100% run of Star Road would get rejected for bad game choice.
not really.

One of the rare times I will chime in on a hack... for the positive... but throw my hat in for a 130 star Super Mario Star Road run. After watching an 8 hour playthrough, I am sufficiently impressed and feel it is not only a worthy hack, but one I'd like to see one day on this site. Mr. Kelly R. Flewin
Dear Mr. Flewin, I see you inquireth about a hack. No one has ever tas'd a hack before, with the exception of this. It got rejected for bad game choice. So i suggest we be careful with our TAS's. Ah, who the hell am I kidding? GO FOR IT, SONICPAKER! Signed, Mr. NAME WITHHELD

I was talking about the one where if you are fire mario and hold A and B at the start of a level/transition, you'll slide on one foot for a while
that's what i meant.

3. I don't really know what causes that, but the situation can be kept if Mario keeps jumping and jumping. I think mostly it's a simple graphic error.
When he said sliding on one foot, didn't he mean that fire Mario hold down A until he jumps and then he jousts glides on one foot?

Well, me and Mars are working on this. And we believe there are more improvements. But since this is already an improvement, I'm going to vote yes, and there will be a faster version coming soon this year. Actually I told Mars that 63 frames can be saved in by using the mushroom and go through the ground.yep. And I remember that I also saved 21 frames in 1-2.
Ja, There will be something faster!

Something I've always wondered... Would it be possible to go through the wall in 8-4 after the water part? You know, the tiny area where you have to go on top of the wall that is partly eating the pipe. Couldn't you just get through the wall and shave a bit of time?
ask HappyLee. Or Mars. that'sall i can tell you.

18:51] <BrandonElsewhere> turska: IDK man, I remember you ragging on That Mario with the Famtasia or whatever <-- What is wrong with him? <BrandonElsewhere> he definitely was confirmed autistic <YoungJ1997lol> no, it berates me bacause i tried to upload my smb -3 run <ThatGugaWhoPlay> ... <BrandonElsewhere> but people just thought he was immature because he was like 13-14 <ThatGugaWhoPlay> I will take a look to his posts. <nitrogenesis> BrandonElsewhere: he is extremely talented at SMB TASing <YoungJ1997lol> his posts are decent. <BrandonElsewhere> his YouTube channel said that he was autistic and it was written by his om <BrandonElsewhere> *mom <scrimpy> The question is whether or not the intermanets, even a relatively mature place such as TASvideos, is the right place for a 13-year old autistic child. <BrandonElsewhere> I liked him <BrandonElsewhere> he should come back <YoungJ1997lol> he even knos the flagpole glitch <YoungJ1997lol> he's 11. <nitrogenesis> YoungJ1997lol: the flagpole glitch is not very hard <YoungJ1997lol> or 12. <BrandonElsewhere> yeah, I can't even do that stuff <ThatGugaWhoPlay> 11??? <BrandonElsewhere> oh snap, really? He's younger than Patryk, right
