And hmm, that's what I can think of now.. Oh, and I actually die one time :P Can you spot where?
I believe it was when you ran into a door and a sword fell on you closer to the end of the movie. Also I liked the jumping through the wall glitch and better health management. Great job!

You saw that he included an english patch right? Anyway you gain xp from none to 3 max and as you get hit you lose levels of your weapons so you get rewarded for not being hit.

Oh wow this game is so awesome. And as Blublu said the music is great! Now back to play it more, as I highly recommend it.

Its there, just press select at the start up screen, type in any serial # then this code: 3HDJL9DNQV2WYTV4S91RXR86 and play through the game and you'll hit the prize world.

Ok, that did the trick! I liked it... a lot! I also really really like it when I smash the AI in tetris attack and these games look similar with the vs mode. Definate yes.

I like what I see so far, but I wanna ask about the first crown jewel. Its on the path back to the gold thief place and wanted to know why you didn't grab it then? Did I miss something about a better place to grab it?

Very nice! The menu speed was literally blazing and the jumps were really precise and fast. Also the fight for the silver statue was very fast and I liked the tiny jump to get past the guard guy. I don't know what else to say about it besides keep at it! I can't wait for your finished version!

Very nice! Now for a question, in stage 4 (after the first big armored guy) in the set of 4 barrels theres a level up staff there. Why don't you get it? I was under the impression that as you get to a higher level you do more damage. As far as things I'd like to see done, would be max level (16). I know its possible when you chain kill the same type of enemys, for anyone that doesn't know you about it you get 1x xp the first one of a set type, then 2x xp then 3x then 4x then repeats again from 1-4. I'm thinking this isn't gonna be very realistic for a speed run though. The next thing I would like to know is how hard is it to manipulate the chests in this game? Whenever you split a chest(attack it) you get a chance to get a red level up staff! I've seen it happen a couple of times while playing, infact thats how I proven to myself that you can't get beyond 16 even though the 999,999 xp requirement makes it pretty obvious. Finally, how possible/impossible would a 2(3?) player run be for this? More enemys while running to each boss, but about 2x the power for the bosses.

I was wondering if you could give us any updates as to your progress? I like what I see so far! Just tinkering with the purple mage I used the dragon for both forms (betting you could do the 'get hit and spam the mouse's attack' tactic for the 1st part of the mage). But then for the dragon, I charged up the dragon as he showed up and shot him for ~2 bars of damage then shot around till I think until he made a 2nd charge. After that 2nd charge his head was right at the perfect spot for the fire attack (about 1/3-1/4 of the way down the screen) and I was able to sit on the top most block and spam the dragons attack and did atleast 1/2 of his health pretty quickly. Not sure if this is the quickest way, but perhaps it could spark some more ideas and discussions.

Sorry to kinda hijack the thread, but I can't seem to get the .fcm to work right. The checksum for the roms are the same, but when I start the replay the character runs into the door and nothing of note happens. Anyone know what could be the proble? I really wanna see this run!

I liked it a lot, I remember playing this a lot as a kid and ~9 minutes for the whole game surprised me!
