No. Nach is actually Nach. But he is no rapper. All makes sense now, huh?

I think making this topic sticky would be a good idea.

Mukki's point is that the run is not required to be console verified to be accepted and published, so there's no reason to talk about it in the judging statement for the run. We can worry about console verifying the run after it's published.
I understand Mukki's reasoning because it makes sense. My statement wasn't meant to show disagreement with his decision. In fact, I think it's correct under TASVideos' current judge guidelines.

I for one would be amazed by a "highest score run" (with no deaths of course) preferably with knuckles. Even if it's not perfectly optimized.
So would I. However, the player should avoid killing the same badnik more than once to avoid boring grinding.

But doesn't "TASer of the year" award the work the TASer has done? Doesn't fighting against a crappy emulator play into the work he has done?
In that case, nitsuja should win this award hands down. Let me remind you that he developed a new re-recording emulator (.wtf) to be able to TAS the game he wanted to TAS.

I think the human world record for True Area 53 is maxed out or at least very close to perfection. However, after seeing what Mukki has done to this game, and having into account that I'm not good at estimating this kind of thing, I wouldn't be surprised if he proved me wrong. In fact, I would love to be proven wrong. :P By the way, I would like to read a few opinions about the suggested screenshots.

I'm sorry but I couldn't resist and watched it on emulator. What the fuck just happened? o_O Congratulations on breaking this game further! I suggest these screenshots:

It looks like the player corrupts memory in this movie. If someone can confirm this, please let me know so I can add the corresponding tag to the publication.

Have you made any progress on this run? I look forward to seeing it in the workbench. Did you like Sonic Generations? I think it's the best Sonic game of the last decade.

I have never played a Final Fantasy game. I own three of them, though. >_> I have never played a Kirby game. I own three of them, though. <_< I have never beaten a Tomb Raider game. I have only played the first Tomb Raider, and it was for less than an hour. I have never beaten a Mega Man game. I have only played a Mega Man for the Game Boy, and that was like fifteen years ago. I have never played a non-portable Metroid game.

Amazing. This is probably the best TAS I have ever watched. I see you have "master" in your name for a reason. Choosing my favorite parts is quite difficult because pretty much the whole thing is a delightful long highlight, but I will go with the end of the second act of Ice Paradise Zone and your new route in the second act of Hot Crater Zone. Also, 250,000 re-records? What the hell? I love the idea of using maps to explain where and how did you exactly improve the previous movie. Best TAS of the year. Congratulations! I suggest these screenshots: ^Sonic is happily confused in his own TAS. ^Don't do drugs, I'm watching!

A 100% run of Sonic Advance 2 would look like this: http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm13377390 http://www.nicozon.net/watch/sm13377390 - For those without an account.

I gave that game a go a few months ago, and you have to free your fellow mice to progress in the game. Every time you free a mouse, he dances happily for some time to celebrate, and you can't move while he's at it, ruining the otherwise swift pace of the game. Unfortunately, the Genesis version of this game would make for a boring run because of that. I would recommend TASing the Master System version instead, which features the same maps but lacks those stupid animations.

Good job! The health management is great. Five months ago, I looked for interesting NES games to TAS, and this was one of the best I found, so I'm glad you did it. I look forward to your next project. antd: Thank you very much for encoding pretty much every input file you stumble upon. It makes my life way easier. :P

"Rapidez" ("speed" in Spanish) -> "zedipar" (a few hits on Google) -> "zeupar" (no hits on Google) -> "Zeupar" (properly capitalized)
