That trick is awesome! It isn't a cheat. Similar exploits were used in this movie of Densetsu no Stafy and this run of Arkanoid.

I, for one, would love to see the run in cinema + 16:9 as the field of view is surprisingly wide. Are you interested in trying Dam with these settings or would that kill your motivation?

Sometimes going faster in one section is slower in another, etc.
Which factors cause this? I assume wisp powers are one of them, but I would like to know if there are other. Could you list the acts where you have had trouble because of this? I think this would be something interesting to include in the submission text. I have been playing this game recently so I look forward to this TAS. Best of luck.

I am really glad the current TAS of this awesome game got such a large improvement. I didn't expect it either, because Mukki is very good at optimizing games. It is too bad pausing is necessary to be faster, because that prevents the viewers from fully enjoying the great soundtrack of this game, but using that trick was a wise decision. I also liked all that you did to make the movie entertaining during the waiting periods. Excellent job, MUGG!

At about 0:35 seconds in this video, you bounce up off of one white pig thing onto another, and your bounces are very very low. Would it be faster to land on the platform right next to the pig and do a full-height jump onto its back, to cut out a few of the lesser bounces?
I think he played around a bit there so the next enemy was in the optimal position for a damage boost. However, if that is the case, I think that jumping over it might be faster anyway.

Frames with any buttons held: 6806 (57.5%)
There are instances where you have a one-frame window and need perfect pixel positioning to complete the stages as fast as possible (examples of them are avoiding the special stage spring on the first act, avoiding the spring hidden in the grass at the end of the second act or landing certain hits on the boss), and I think that is pretty cool.
I would appreciate feedback or improvement suggestions. Should I continue?
