I have no idea, but this guide might be useful for you.

I liked both videos. Good job, sonicpacker.

The only solution is to use a widescreen hack so that the video doesn't look noobishly stretched.
That was what I was asking; if widescreen hack should be used for encodes of this game or not.
In my opinion, encodes of this game should be 4:3 to keep them as true to the original as possible.

Don't make it Arcade VS Other Platform, Rules should be same for all platform
I disagree. Arcades work in a different way than consoles (in the sense that you can't play them if you don't have some change to spare), so having rules that only apply to them isn't illogical (that is, if they are related to this money).

Dooty, PSXJin has been released today. I just wanted to let you know that I look forward to your TAS of this game. Could you post some WIPs when you start working on this?

His encodes and movies are still on the site, so it is not like his effort was for nothing.

You are doing an awesome job with this game. If this movie is published (and it will most likely be), this has to be the screenshot. :P

It is an optimized TAS of an awesome varied fast-paced game which features clever solutions and awesome tricks which, in my opinion, would be noticed and appreciated by people who have not played the game. It looks like you didn't, though. :/

Camhack does that. I am pretty sure that nitsuja and Mukki have known that for a while. I myself noticed it a couple days ago while TASing Sonic Advance for the first time. So yeah, nothing new.

My only negative comment would be Tails missing. Not really relevant in an Act1 I know, but just putting it out there if you do the full run.
Haha. Tails isn't missing, it is just that Sonic goes too fast for him and you only see him at the beginning of the act. :P

Do you think you'd make a full run of this game?
Yes, I'm considering doing that. The reset glitch might be also useful in some stages and save a lot of frames.
If you do a full run, I think that the best approach would be not using the reset glitch at all.

You are at the beginning of the TAS, so I think that you shouldn't ignore known improvements no matter how minor they are.

Thank you for blowing my mind, andymac. I finished this game a week ago and have it fresh in my mind, so I was able to fully appreciate how well done this is. I was thoroughly entertained and amazed while watching this awesome TAS. TASes like this are the reason why I love this site. In my opinion, this little masterpiece should be given a star. I wish that it was sub-40 minutes. Oh well... :(

EDIT: It seems like you swim a lot faster in this movie than in the currently published run. How is that?
I was wondering the same. I have selected several possible screenshots: If you like any of them, I will optimize it. I am surprised that you didn't take the lower route here, because it seems that it could save time: I am probably missing something. :P

I like that idea. The icon could be a silver tick (✓) resembling a "V" of "Verified".

Why do you think that the Wii is more important for SDA than the NES? I don't get that "xD" at the end of your line, either. Do you have something against SDA?

I think these two awards should be redesigned, because they feature the Game Boy Micro, which is a Game Boy Advance in a bad disguise:

Thank you for your help, Rolanmen1. I have fixed all but one (which was fixed by Sonikkustar). I suspect that several movies are missing tags, so I would like to ask TASVideos' members for help; if you have any movies published on the site, could you check them to see if all is correct and report in their respective submission topic any omission or mistake that you find? If you don't have any published movies but are familiar with certain games, your help would be appreciated as well.
