Life:
- Focus more on studying environmental protection and sustainable development
- Find a fulfilling job with conditions almost as good as my current one's (this is probably the hardest one)
- Start practicing sports on a regular basis again (sports implying boards, hopefully)
- Travel around the world (this is almost planned already, anyway)
- Visit this forum and IRC only once per week, if at all, to have more time to honor my previous resolutions
Video games:
- Play several of the best NES, SNES, PSX, N64 and GameCube games once and for all
- Play Fallout 4 only from time to time
- Muster courage to get back to speedrunning in 2017
- Muster courage to become a good TASer in 2017

Hmm, the submission date for most (if not all) of those movies is 2007. We had a conversation on IRC the other day about who held the record. Part of the reason I made this topic was so someone who is willing to do the grunt work finds who has the actual record.

There have been many contributors over the last 4 years, I've always considered this as a team project.
I would be in favour of submitting the final result in the name of everyone who contributed in this thread.
That's a much more reasonable approach, and one I agree with. You just proved yourself very selfless, too, which is great. I didn't like the suggestion of leaving Aglar out of the submission and having people like Hat be part of it at the same time, and that's the reason I wrote my post above.

Since you brought up credit, I will give my opinion about it: at this rate, Tee-N-Tee will be the record holder for all acts. Don't you think it would be unfair that someone else was also listed as an author of the full final run only because they helped a tiny bit here and there or made minor tweaks to the boss fights? That kind of contributions are commonly mentioned in the acknowledgment section of the submission text. Your last few posts gave me the impression that the only thing you care about is getting author status for this run no matter what. Your trying to exclude Aglar only because he has not posted in this topic recently is also a bad sign...
Anyway, eggcellent work, Tee-N-Tee! I wonder if you will submit this run as a Christmas present for the community. ;)

I tried registering here as "TheBarrel" like I did with SDA, but for some reason it wouldn't let me register with that name (even though I can't find anyone on the members list with that name) so I went with the simple misspelling, though I still pronounce it the same.

@Zeupar: There’s a difference between frame optimization, and strategy. All 3 of my SM64DS published TASes use massively different strategies that weren’t found at the time the previous one was made.
Oh, I thought that finding the optimal strategies for a video game was one of the most important parts of the process of "TASing intellingently". I mean, if one isn't good at that, their TASes will probably end up being among the "tons of suboptimal TASes published on the site".

One person in the YouTube comments wonders why you didn't shoot down the fifth boss right away (from 7:07 to 7:26 in the YT encode):

If you look at the RAM watch in the bottom-center, it shows the boss HP, which is continually counting down for this boss fight with no input from the user except right at the end. I don't know exactly how that works, though.
I think it has to do with the 35 grenades thrown at the boss at the very beginning of the fight. There is also this excerpt from the submission text of the movie this one obsoleted:
Iron Nokana(hp:4100) is quite strange, you need to take 4090HP and wait for about 1200 frames to finish him.
