~30 second improvement on an already sweet run! Obvious Yes vote from me.

Another question statwise: What exactly do air, hangtime and ollie do? Does ollie only enhance jumps on flat surfaces or also vert jumps? How is hangtime prolonged? By less gravity, slower falling or higher jumping? What does air do then?
IIRC, Ollie makes your ollies more powerful in all situations, but it's not totally noticeable. Air makes everything you do in the air faster (ie tricks and spins), and Hangtime simply makes you fall slower (ie no gravitational change).

Mayhap we just need a distinction between Tool-Assisted Speedruns and Tool-Assisted Superplays? I'm against the idea, for now, but I'm very open to convincing, so long as there is good reason for it. As it stands, I accept the "concept demonstration" grouping in the sense that there are very entertaining concepts that are not speed-oriented, but only because of set site precedents. However, I can't accept that some of these demonstrations are accepted whilst others are not. Also note that I still hate the term "TAS" and I wish that the forums could be reversed to a single order stack.

And "other" is less vague than "concept demo" for a plethora of reasons, right? I don't mean to come off as condescending, but it seems like the same rehashed discussion we always attempt to have, and fail to conclude, every few months.

What is the difference between "other" and the all too elusive "concept demo" category?

I still don't see why we are perpetuating the SMB2 princess-only run whilst we reject the SMW walkathon submission. Both are quirky demonstrations of neat concepts, so why should one stay and the other be turned back?

Nice run overall but you could've done the dark demon afterwards since 9x supports mid-record resetting and all.
Bisqwit deemed that as a different category a few years ago, so it's not needed for a 100% submission.

Holy shit, you raped Phalanx3 faster than I would have imagined possible. Giving this one of the strongest Yes votes I've given in months. Excellent work on a great game. Any chance you'll do the simpler any%?

What are you, Colonel Cathcart? Major Major Major Major was a staunch supporter of our colors (which never run) despite the fact that he never pledged anything. Besides, the most clever terrists out there can pantomime that beautiful soliloquy at a moments notice, but that doesn't mean that they mean it.

I'll never forget the tears that my pet bald eagle Freedom shed on that day. Anyways, the simple solution to the OP is as follows: Americans (phonetic) are people who live in North and South America. Americans (clench your jaw and never move it) like in the USA and love Pop Rocks and Soda.

So it is settled, then. If you hate them terrists, you are an Amrrcan. Problem solved.

Lies. If you were a troop-supporting SUV-driving demoncrat-and-lieberal-hating never-forgetting patriot like me, you would know FODA's current computer set up like the back of your hand. Go back to Cuba, Fidel.

It's a proven fact that FODA uses a desktop, since he had to rebuild it out of cheap parts as of late. A real American would know this. This makes your statement un-American. QED.

Yes of course it was a typo, the 0 and 1 are right next to each other on the top of the keyboard.

Looked great up until Phalanx1. Are you sure that you couldn't kill him faster by getting him to dive immediately without morphing? The switch just for that tiny ascent seems suspect.

Do you call people from Canada "Canadian-Americans?" Also, please note this

So your second response is useless.

I didn't either. Did Bush finally wake up and realize we have to take over Canada? Or is there some new deal with Mexico going on?
Puerto Rico is a US Protectorate, which some conclude as a new state.

Underwater sections in this game are always a hassle. Thank goodness they barely show up in the game. Holothurion went really well. Good job killing him before he retracted. The rest of the game is a cake walk until Phalanx2.

Holothurion is a very very easy fight, and I wouldn't worry about manipulating him so long as he never tucks in. Crawler will be a chore, sure, but he is the last real obstacle before Phalanx3. I guess I should also point out that you can destroy the floating platforms during Phalanx3 by shooting them once. Did you equip the Hand Relic yet? I would suggest you do so immediately, since it will make tearing through things easier, and you won't need to switch back to Armor until you fight Holothurion.
