I'm more in than you! In my opinion, everyone named Fabian is a platinum ghetto dumptruck, so it all works out either way.

What about the platinum ghetto dumptrucks? Same line of thought, except more "in" than Fabian ever will be.

I don't get it. Was this supposed to be a PM that turned in to a thread somehow?

Best IRC Drinkin' Buds goes to me and OgreSlayeR, even though he isn't on IRC right now. edit: runners up go to Zurreco and Vatchern, since that asshole OgreSlayeR isn't on IRC and I'm gettin' drilznik without him.

I'm going to assume that my keyboard just doesn't like to have some button combinations pressed at the same time, and hope that I don't come across a section of the game where I have to press 4 or 5 different buttons at once (which I doubt).
If it does become a problem, you can either use auto-hold (if Mupen has it), or you can remap all the inputs to the same key for those few necessary frames. :)

Seeing as how well fortified Bowser's Castle is, shouldn't it also deal damage (like Wall of Spears) to attackers?

Well, since we have a Mario and a Bowser Castle Bowser (3/5) 3+BkBk
  • Creature
  • At the beginning of your turn, pay 2+R to play a Bowser Child token. Each token is a (2/1) creature. If this skill is played, Bowser does not untap during next upkeep. You may not have more than 7 (right?) tokens in play at one time. Should Bowser be taken to the graveyard, all tokens must be removed from the card.
  • RR: For one turn, Bowser gains (+2/+0)
  • If Bowser is killed by a Plumber, pay 4 to put Bowser on the top of your deck.

I'm having some problems with the TAS input plugin. Basically the major problem is that when I try to hold both the up and right C buttons (W and S on my keyboard), the program won't let me frame advance. This problem doesn't occur when I'm trying to use the up and left C buttons at the same time, and I can even use the left and right C buttons while using frame advance. But not the up and right... any idea why this might occur?
Could be that your keyboard doesn't accept too many inputs at once. That, or you're pressing too many keys that are in close proximity at the same time. Try moving your Cright to F and see if it works then? What is your frame advance key?

Care to explain how a jump attack with the deku stick is different than a jump attack with the sword? There will always be an angle where the stick won't collide with the wall and still put you in the critical angle, so I can't think of any reason why deku sticks aren't viable. e: Either my browser at work sucks, or the term 'trial' comes up about twice in the last ~30 pages of this thread.

Nope, everything went according to plan. The best part of the whole run, of course, is when Liu Kang's head perfectly finds its way to the camera and leaves a mark. MK4 is the convergence point of all coincidences!

I'd be partial to: Hammer (2R) Enchantment Target creature gains trample and (+2/-2). Move Hammer to the graveyard after two turns, or if target creature dies.

How do you do the Gannon trials skip with light arrows on B? You won't be able to jump slash through the wall, right?
Anything you can carry that will allow a slash (like a Deku stick) is viable.

Not bad at all. Going to go ahead and vote yes on this, though I'll admit that I would have liked to see more fatalities.

100% seems like such a huge waste of time for this game, though. Seriously, aside from the scrolling levels (which would be boring as is), you only get a tiny bit of leeway point wise every few levels, so the whole game basically devolves in to a collection game. Very little ingenuity is needed. Pure speed, however, would be pretty cool.

What happens if you create an ice pillar next to a wall, and then dash in to the area it will occupy before it fully forms?
