Gah, all this talk of religion! Everyone is too cemented in their beliefs, for the most part, that a huge 'part of the problem/part of the solution' ethos will sweep the lands. In 75 years, the world will pretty much divide itself betwixt the main sects due to crazed zealotry. This zealotry is seen by all stances on religion, including Agnosticism and Atheism, to say the least. Anyone in the middle will either be caught out a bit too late at night (and subsequently destroyed for not taking a stance) or will succumb to one of the main religion clans, living a shallow and empty life. ...Hooray! I'm a big fan of the no religion/politics in a public setting rule, because it makes for less conflict between everyone.

The problem with the top path comes from Katina, since you have to spend a lot of time in that level to get a good score and still make it to Sector X. You would only be able to spend maybe 5% of your effort on actually completing the mission, which would involve having the destroy each of the mother ship's parts just before the final seconds of the attack. Whilst it would be cool to watch, you have to understand that this leads to a few minutes of circular pot shooting until time is almost up. The problem with the bottom path is that Aquas gives crap for points. This is countered by the high amount of kills that Sector Y can give, though, so it's all good. I prefer the bottom path.

Let me get this straight: you're requesting a run for a game that hasn't even been released world-wide? What is the huge rush?

Is there any way someone who isn't LagDotCom to show me what I need to view this file? I'm a big useless internet tough guy when it comes to .pgn files. Better yet, someone should make an animated .gif!

-You shouldn't do this. Instead, you should take the upper path in the Arena to get the Laevatain and Red Minotaur at the same time. -I don't think you can kill it so quickly at such a low level, but I could be wrong.

I have a bunch of minor problems right now, but my main, burning questions are: 1) Why didn't you get the Skeleton Knight Soul? 2) If you're going to kill those werewolves, why aren't you making them drop Black Belts?

I guess you haven't really played Killer Instinct Gold or anything lately. Anyways, apology accepted.

I have played MMX1-3 only on the SNES, and, like I said, I find it much easier to work dashing into my normal routine when compared to the original megaman games. When I think dash, I don't expect the down button to play any role in it. I don't understand your point about ladders. If anything, having a dash button instead of down+jump is better for the same example that you gave: you can't absentmindedly go for a dash in MMX and accidentally fall down a ladder. The possibility for this error was removed when a new dash button was incorporated, and for that I say "way to think of every possible scenario when it comes to dashing, Capcom. Well done." Down is reserved for ducking, jumping down, sliding, but not dashing. Dashing is a forward movement, so the left/right inputs should be used. Any statements contrary to this are blasphemy. Also, since when was A/Y super far away from the other buttons? Be thankful they didn't use X or Select to dash.

You can dash by double tapping. Also, I found it a lot harder to use the slide, since it wasn't conducive to faster jumping.

So... X series ruined Mega Man by making dashing more accesible, even though X and Mega Man are two different entities that were designed with different specs? Do you think that Zero is to blame for the faults of Protoman?

You know there is a gamecube game what is like the ultimate megaman collection. Any of you guys seen/tried this? is it ok to play megaman on the Cube controller?
The Megaman/X Collection would be a good way to play all of the early Megaman games in one environment. However, the GCN controller feels far to difficult compared to the NES/SNES controllers, so you'll be fumbling around the buttons and triggers trying to do some stuff.

PS: SNES X series is the best, followed closely by the Megaman Zero series.

Lightning Doll should be the second most used shooter soul, the first being Red Minotaur. Can I get a WIP of your work so far?

Hmm... the thread seems to have poofed, along with the discussion that occured. Anyways, it was agreed that manipulating magical food from the smallest meat dropping enemies would be good, but only to maximize teeth and legs/fins/wings, with the latter being more prioritized. You really only need to get good attack for the bosses, and even then, a good system based on movement could negate any attack upgrades. Other than that, the game would be pretty straightforward. Never upgrade anything you dont need to, don't kill unless you have to, and find ways to use enemies for speed (like bouncing in the later levels).

I'm for cool signatures. I guess that means that I'm against Dark Fulgore's signature.

It would be cool to see what people could make with any mode in Mario Paint, given just 60 seconds. That offers music, imaging, or the lovely gnat game as options.

By referring to this as a Fabian, you have implied that this submission would be the best thing since pre-sliced bread.

Anyways, "10" equals to "perfect", which means "can't be improved in a known way", and both mentioned movies are in no way perfect. Excellent, yes, but for the aforementioned reason — not perfect.
Have you given out any 10s? 9s? The rating system is relative: what is perfect to you is imperfect to others, and vice-versa. However, if you're holding out for your own perfection, you might as well make the ratings scale 1-9, since you're never going to see a perfect submission.
