I speak English fluently. I also speak French and Greek fairly well, along with some German and Spanish to get by whenever I'm in Europe/Mexico. I plan to learn Russian within the next 10 years.

It is referred to as the PSX because, as earlier mentioned, it was first dubbed as the 'Playstation Experimental.' The reason we don't call the PSX by the handle 'PS1/one' is because the PS1 is the mini version of the original PSX. Also, isn't ePSXe a working rerecording emu for playstation games? As soon as it becomes open source, I assume that it will be the one that this site will use at first.

A 100% run here would be maybe 30 minutes faster, probably. "A few minutes" is a huge understatement.

Atma and I have already talked about some improvements. I don't think he has the balls to make them himself, though. :) Actually, I wouldn't know. He is more interested in helping along my glitch run as of late.

Looks pretty good. I see you revised your Chaos fight a bit. Good work. You're somehow getting a yes vote from me, although I can see at least 5 seconds of improvement all over :p What was the point of that super potion? Money? Also, where is my optional cool ending?

The correct way to end your recording session would be to select File -> Movie Stop. If you are doing all that you say you are doing, and you are in fact playing the smv that you overwrote, and not some other smv with the same name but in a different location, then I do not know how to help you.

Are you sure you were recording this whole time? Are you sure that you are playing the correct file? I'm guessing your problem is one of these. To ensure that you are overwriting an old smv, you have to play the old smv without read-only active, load a savestate contained within the frame of the movie, and continue on from there.

Set two inputs to the same key. Problem should solve itself.

Do the CRCs match up? Sounds like you have the wrong ROM/a bad dump.

I think that is the key to get into the locker in the precinct. The locker holds the second outfit for Leon, and maybe a magnum(?). Haven't played RE2 in forever, but that is what it looks like to me.

Since it was already stated that single shots would barely be used, the loss of laser power doesn't really affect anything. The power of charged shots is constant. So, for a high score run, it would be smarter to get more bombs in lieu of a stronger single fire shot.

Maybe there should be a high score, low score (speed), and a best score/time ratio? Of course, I would hate to think that the third would degrade into movies getting published for having one extra kill, or something.

But doesn't it waste time for the points to be counted up? If you're going to go for speed, maybe you should go for the least points.
Fyling through the mission and dodging every enemy? Like a pacifist run, then? That's slightly depressing, considering how the best part of SF64 was obliterating the enemy.

I'll stick with the SNES version, thanks. Doing some testing of this alongside Aria. You would be surprised at how upset I am over how simple the Belth fight is. I can only get 3 hits in per jumpset max, so I could technically space them out as wide as I want to. Kinda sucks, because there is no need for optimisation, I guess. BLeh.

Voted Yes on this. Excellently played. The combo stuff surprised me, actually. My only qualm is that you could have maybe used the Recoil Rod on the walls for added velocity (say, coming out of ladder climb areas), but I'm probably just being idealistic. Good show. Now do MMZ2 :)
