as far as I know, collecting coins less than fifty and losing less than like half health doesn't affect wait time on level end. mario still htakes off his cap and brushes his mustache or whatever.

That looked amazing! The one part that I thought a few frames could be saved on was at the end of the eight red coins star, you could have maybe hit B to dive...? I dunno. good work, and I'm excited for the last two.

Yeah, it's the original unmodified rom. I've done most of the glitches possible to do in real-time on my VC version of SM64. Also super mario bros on VC still has the world -1 glitch, so nintendo doesn't change the roms of many vc games.....

I have a 5.1 system hooked up to my main computer. I remember sonic foundry being a program that makes importing audio and setting what channel to play each stream in and then encoding to AC3 and other formats really easy. I haven't used it in like a year though. If there was a 4-channel audi made for this movie, pretty much anyone who has 4 or more speakers could listen to an individual game by setting the volume for the undesired pair of speakers in their system settings to off, and then the left/right balance in their media player (like MPC or VLC or whatever) to favor the desired audio. So a solution that would allow everyone to listen to anything however they want would be with 3 tracks: one with A and B, another with C and D, and a 4.0 track. My two cents :v

I actually thought it was clever. VVVVVV- Restock of bombs and more enemies than possible without the checkpoint death.

The bosses have the same amount of HP, but the weapons are less effective.
I think this is actually due to the fact that you're playing on expert, which the previous movie did not.
Does a movie playing in a higher difficulty obsolete an easier run? I'd vote for this run to obsolete the current run if it continues to be played so well.

I thought the run was nice, but didn't really need to be "submitted" since it could just be posted in the normal thread like the flower cup run, whether or not the end credits appear. Also this thread's drama isn't cool. voted yes anyway.

So was that last star really faster by going to the back than by walljumping left and right beforehand? Superb work.

It looks REALLY good. I haven't had a chance to work on mine over spring break but I'll get on it soon.

boot camp means like 1 extra click at the beginning, so install it anyway, or ask for your own computer. Don't Dells sell for like $300?

The little bits and pieces of humor liberally sprinkled throughout the game were what made this game golden when played normally, so I agree it would be great to mention stuff that TASing skips, like the fact that there's a sign in onett that says something like "don't step on the flowers" but in order to actually read the sign with A, you have to be standing on the flower patch, or that enemies never die, they just become tame or vanish, or melt, or something. Once this is completed, I'll watch the run again with commentary :)

didn't desync here. That extra health will mean slower countdowns in all future levels where you can't hurt yourself 3 times without losing time. Have you tested to see if maybe not hurting yourself in the cave level will perhaps save you time in the next level since you'll still have the projectile sword?

yes but to activate this star I must do the Board Bowser's Sub star and then I must twice long jump every other star after this, because the blue water wall or what this is move behind. That is my opinion.
You are correct, so you did it the right way. Great job :D

Everything looks great. Any reason why you waited so long for that last boos in the second boss race?

Actually you need warlus only one Boggy race. Other race you go with sprint shoes.
Really? I thought you had to beat the walrus race just to be able to play the speed shoes race.
You do. so even though you aren't the walrus getting the sprint shoes jiggy, you have to have become it at one point. :/

Thanks for that. Pumpkin seems to be a must for RBB (unless I use sandcastle cheats, which I've decided I won't (that can be a different category)), and the termite doesn't have to be used at all for its jiggies and notes. I still can't decide what will be better to skip though.

I honestly can't tell if it's faster to use the feathery flap boost, or the speed of rolling as often as I do. I THINK my way is faster but tests don't give consistent results. All I know is that it's important to get kazooie out at least a tiny bit since banjo loses speed after landing from a normal jump. If you'd like to see if there's a difference, be my guest. If not, then at least Sami and I will have different styles during the non talon-trot parts. Anyway, for MM, I hope to find a good frame within 6 seconds of when I first arrive at the MM entrance to get both conga jiggies to intersect. I also hope I can use the water glitch I posted about before to get the final jiggy to save time on the two dances. Other than that though, business as usual.

I think that if the author can be arsed to, you know, be an author, then someone who wants to see what's going on can expend a little effort and get a generic decompressor like ace, winrar, 7zip or anything that can read the files Rikku is nice enough to post. Something that is "bothering" is NEVER a good reason to ask other people to do something for you.
