I think someone should set up 8 players with the right properties such that no one will ever agree on a deal, and the game will literally never end, then set yourself as a cpu player, and end input.

Saved 420 frames in box room posted earlier in thread. Room after got me another 118 frames by not getting attacked. 2 and 4 frames saved through better movement in the next rooms. Goblin boss is next. Hoping for earlier crits!

WOW AH system worked fine. Not sure why they didn't copy it. I'm nearing the end of act 2 nightmare solo. Really focusing on the story and getting lore books. Also trying out the companions. I have pretty bad gear 4200 health and 900dps. unique enemies are challenging sometimes. but as a monk there's 10 ways to heal yourself it seems. Templar and minion seem pointless. I don't think they have gotten aggro once. Might as well pick a dps follower. I'll try the scoundrel next. After getting the lore stuff done I'll go back to all online for hell+

I'm in nightmare now. The ending was... mediocre. The game really does feel rushed once you get to act 4. I'm focusing on single player now and absorbing the story.

I'm having a lot of fun on my monk. I actually like being limited to 6 skills simultaneously. Each skill has a purpose and is fun to use for the most part. (They've been trying to do this with wow for 8 years) I like being able to head to town to salvage and teleport right back to your partners as he continues to fight. I like each person receiving their own loot drops. I like the hugely expanded lore and voiceovers. The crafting system is pointless. I've never made a crafted item better than a dropped item. The auction house ruins item gathering by making it too easy. Plus it's not even accessed during gameplay. The graphics are colorful but low polygon. Like most blizzard games this allows it to run on 7 year old systems and have 100 enemies on screen at once without slowdown. But we always wish for prettier games...The best the game will ever look I'm level 28 in Act3 normal. There are 4 difficulties. 60 is the maximum level. I still have a ways to go before I beat normal. I will update when I do.

I guess I only ever played on battle.net so the always connected thing doesn't bother me. sorcerer was always chosen to teleport through walls to the boss in a few seconds. I never heard of barbarian mephisto runs. Years of playing wow off and on makes me think no monthly fee is actually a good deal... I hate the feeling of being rushed to play a game to get my moneys worth. I haven't bought a game since 2010. Maybe it's time...

Diablo 2 was unbalanced and did not have a story. You had your buddy rush your new character to hell cows as soon as you were level 20. Level 91-99 took the same amount of experience as 1-90. 3/4 of most classes skill trees were never used. Life/mana leech was hacked. 95% of the game was hell cows and meph runs with your mf sorc. The main thing the game had was item gathering. Did this make the game fun? It did. I can't seem to put a finger on why.

In chronological order over the last month in irc(somewhat accurate from my foggy memory): 1. He was speaking about having pericarditis. 2. Part of a tumor was removed? (This may have been exploratory only and it was too bad to operate on.) 3. They sewed him up and the painkillers weren't working at all. 4. I haven't heard from him in probably two weeks.

You are required to kill 3 enemies in this area. There are two types easy(red)75hp and hard(black)85hp. Both types take 2 attacks to kill. The black enemy blocks maybe 4x as many attacks. I'm thinking of killing 2 easy and 1 hard. That will give me a level before golem. It shouldn't cost much time. Plus I think it will save me 1 turn for golem. I will be at the same level regardless for Caruban. Should be similar to this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xzC37O6eWd4 but without the weapon. edit 4/29: The last battle in this area sets the battle counter in the next area. Except I can't change it no matter when I enter battle. The only option is to try to fight the 3 battles in a different order. And this random battle area is terrible. Highest encounter rates I've seen thus far. So I really want to maximize my encounter value before I get there. Skipped Gimard and Tornado Flame so far. edit 4/29: The center enemy allows me to choose the battle counter. I will kill him last. I am curious why none of the other enemies act this way... edit 4/29: I was wrong. After I killed the east enemy the center one no longer produced random encounter values. Oh well. The other option is: dolphin+wolf x3 1431fr (76+32dmg) Spirit+wolf 424fr (32dmg) tempest+wolf 732fr (144+32dmg) dolphin+wolf 477fr = 3064(76+32dmg) This gives me much easier manipulation. Plus it's only 20 frames slower before manipulation. Should save 100's in manipulation

I seem to be unable to find a version that doesn't have the PAL/NTSC patch at the beginning... Every place I check to buy it from is 615,073,872 bytes.

1459 seems to be max new encounter counter after starting a random encounter. 489 minimum. Crossing encounter grid lines where they intersect only reduces the counter once. Meaning half as many encounters if you need to go diagonally across the map. Hey we are making some good RNG progress....
