Just Finished the Maltese Falcon. ITs great. There is a bit of a difference between the book in the movie, but by the time you notice you have already been sucked in.

Just keep in mind that Gamecube has Fast Loading times. In fact, IIRC, I could be wrong, It was the fastest of the three systems

But the game must start Form power on, As if one were starting a game. I think that they should, so it would feel as if they just turned on a system. Does the same thing happen for the playstation?

When you are about to go into the place where you fight ELorvet, you have the option of running around or taking Selphies shortcut. If you take the short cut, you lose 2 seed points, and avoid encounters. If you run around you dont lose anything. I usually encounter a battle here. that might help.

I don't think there is anyone who seriously considers "Dune" the best sci-fi book ever. Rather, it's rightly considered a high masterpiece because it essentially created the modern sci-fi genre. In terms of pioneering sci-fi works, "Frankenstein" is the only thing higher than it.
Just out of Curiosity what do you consider pioneering?

I read Dune a while back, It was long an difficult but a well written novel. The problem with dune is that people assume its the best thing ever written in terms of Sci-fi. While I would not hesitate to put it on a top ten list, I would certainly would not put it in number one. The problem with dune, is that it is related to the ten- thousand sequels that follow, and I am surprised anyone still reads that crap. I once heard from a friend not to read past the third book, he had read six. I still think it is a good suggestion though and I am surprised no one else had read it.

Going Back to movies, I just picked up The Maltese Falcon, By Dashiell Hammett. Its not bad, and the movie is a pretty good adaption of what is in the book so far, I am about a quarter of the way through though

Don't the rules state that the game MUST be played on hardest difficulty? I could be mistaken.

Its hard to tell, FF9 is long, But in some parts, the dialogue moves quickly, which would shorten the time

I read somewhere that This game can be played, in battles with two players. Would this make combat move faster? is it even worth testing?

I Am Not a fan of this at all. We have a lot of submissions here and It would slow it down. We are constantly getting newer and newer ones too! Many submissions, Like Mario 64 get alot of attention, I mean it had well over 5-6 pages of responses. While other runs get published and accepted with only few responses and a handful of votes. Not every single person who visits this site is going to watch every single run. I know if it is a run I really want to see I wait patiently, or I download the emulator and the rom and watch it there. Should We mandate encodes on a submission that only gets 12 or 13 yes votes? Should we Force our encoders to work harder than they do already? I think we need people to be patient.

This is cool! I really like this run. Fun Fact: A lot of people speculate that Napoleon invented Klondike Solitaire while he was in isolation.
