The flaming is usually intended (IMO) to bring tell the offender that "We aren't fucking around". I really think it should be used as a last resort, and even then it needs to be clever.

It doesn't matter how long a video is up there, what matters is that people become aware of who made it, either by editing the description to admit he didnt make it. If the person is not willing to give credit where credit is due, then we can make his reputation on the internet really negative as a work thief.

If I may speak off topic, I don't like watching any SDA videos because they are segmented. It's like watching a TV show with commercials. I want a movie.
I think TAS needs to implement a new policy for this to never ever happen again: an audio marker saying something like "This video has been produced for the Tee Eh Ess videos dot org website" during a part with some distinguishable music/sound. Particularly for this video, I think it would go well on the princess peach letter part. Then again, that is at the beginning of the video. Maybe something like shooting out of a cannon? Just overlay that sound with the TASvideos notification thingy?

I am watching it and I saw quite a few mistakes and not much stuff impressive, other than precise and accurate movements.
I have gotten 120 stars in this game years ago, so I know how the game is.
