Link to video Finally got through the sewers, got distracted by doing other things the past few weeks which is why progress has been kind of slow, hopefully I can get sword and shield skip done before the end of the week

New Update, basically just Bo RNG Manipulation and rolling Iron Boots time is ~6:43 which is 11 seconds ahead of the old TAS Link to video

Good to see you're restarting the TAS Gym! Looks good so far :) Just curious, I've noticed other TASes throw the rock from a distance for the gate clip. Did you test that/find that method to be slower?
Yes, I timed placing the rock to be a few frames faster than throwing it.

So, for anyone who doesn't know, I'm redoing the TAS with the improved knowledge that I now have of the game. It's going to be on the German version since the German version saves ~5 seconds over the English version.Obviously the Moonjump code is going to be off this time. This is the second Wip which is currently ~4 minutes in and is 10 seconds ahead of the old TAS: Link to video

That old WIP saves ~1:30 on load times. The build I used more accurately determines console loading times(~90% accurate) which is why it loses a lot of time to that WIP. I optimized as much as I could with my extent of knowledge at the time of TASing, which improved over time but wasn't very good in the beginning. The TAS isn't submittable because I accidentally had the moonjump cheat on the whole time and didn't notice until I was ~40 minutes in to the TAS. Obviously it was never used, but it is still there. Surprisingly the .dtm file plays all the way through with no desyncs which is pretty cool.
