A SHINY MEW and CELEBI?! HAX! I CALL HAX! Also, yes. Because it's amaze-balls and other semi-appropriate approval comments.

Your Video card may not support OpenGL rendering. Older Laptops are notorious for this. Have you tried updating your Video Card Drivers?

The SNES Core (BSNES) is notoriously slow due to it's high accuracy. This is not something we can fix.

I think BizHawk handles Filters for RetroArch but not many work. You could try some of them and see what happens.

It may be easier, to look at the RAM Value and Address in RAM Watch and interface with your autosplitter that way. Instead of using the DLL file and it's offsets..

There is a problem with GameShark Converter on PSX. Codes are supposed to replace two bytes of the memory, for exemple: Code 8009D2A6 0000 is supposed to write 2 bytes 0x0000 in address 0x09D2A6 of the main memory. However, in Bizhawk, GameShark Converter is converting this code to a write of 1 byte 0x00 in address 0x09D2A6 By the way, writing the GS code without the space triggers a Bizhawk error message. EDIT: Tested with Bizhawk 1.11.9.1
I can confirm that I made a mistake when I add cheats to the Cheat list. Mixed up Byte and Word. HURP-A-DERP! EDIT: Fixed with this: https://github.com/TASVideos/BizHawk/commit/ebe011f43a16d1b1cd52ce6ad5a970d5bdfc3467 EDIT 2: I didn't mess with the GBA Code stuff since it's a mess, on top of a mess, with a side of mess. I really should look into fixing/improving it/neatifying it.

I did make an SRAM Merging tool. It's not public released though. Would be nice to see how it works in the wild. Splitting the SRAM files, not as easy. For example, Pokemon Red and Gold are not quite the same size. Splitting it, won't be easy at all.

There's quite a lot of potential things that could cause this. Did you install the Prerequisites? BizHawk tries and warn you that X is missing. Are you running this with an Intel Video Card? Those are known to have problems with OpenGL. You could try forcing BizHawk to use DirectX or GDI+ Rendering Mode. In the config.ini file look for the line "DispMethod" Change it to 0, save the file run BizHawk. Change it to 1, save the file run BizHawk. Change it to 2, save the file run BizHawk. one of those three may fix the issue. If not, Please join the #Bizhawk IRC channel and ask Zeromus for help. Zeromus really wants to TeamViewer a user who is having this issue and determine the exact fix for it.

It's interesting how the Eds broke things in unique ways this time around. Usually I don't call out these update notes but it's cool to see what goes on under the hood of games. https://dolphin-emu.org/blog/2016/11/01/dolphin-progress-report-october-2016/

I wanted to ask this: If you jump on most enemies except that flying orange blob thing, then hit it, the enemy will slide away fast. Is it possible to do this, then ride the enemy as it slides aways. It moves faster then Bugs's running speed. So it may be worth looking into?

Try deleting your config.ini file. That should force BizHawk to reset all settings and allow it to work again.

Yeah, still a ton of blank space on the sides and underneath.

I set columns to be hidden/visible=false and save the TASProj file, then close BizHawk. I reopen BizHawk and open the TASProj from Play Movie, the columns data is ignored when I open TAStudio. However, opening the TASProj from TAStudio works fine. The Columns are set properly.

It should be published into the vault. It doesn't have the entertainment I was hoping for.

This is probably not really a bug, but while loading GoodNES "Double Dragon II - The Revenge (J)" on BizHawk 1.11.7, I got a message saying "Warning: ROM of Unknown Character" Here's a pic: http://i.imgur.com/vXRAFOa.png What does that mean exactly?
May be a hack?
I played the game all the way to the end and didn't see anything that would make it a hack. I also have a movie of it and it synced perfectly with that trained version: "Double Dragon II - The Revenge (J) [t1]" which according to BizHawk's gamedb, is the only good dump of the original Japanese version for some reason.
I did some checking and No-Intro has no Good Hash/Dump of the Japanese version of Double Dragon II.

I can reliably crash BizHawk in the following way: - load some game - open TAStudio - press INSERT - get a fatal out-of-bounds exception
All TAStudio bugs should be checked against the latest build here: http://tasvideos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=13505 The build on that thread is not an official release build. Things may be broken. But bugs should be fixed as well.
