That would be an interesting question. Would a demo file that the engine created, be allowed as a submission on TASVideos? The engine runs the demo and the input is reproduced getting the same results everytime, but is it a "valid" demo? No cheats used, stuff like that.

It runs slow on an 8 Core AMD machine. That's not a good sign. But, accuracy is accuracy.

And, game shows everwhere are crying now because you broke the best. Though, Watson did it before. At least he didn't abuse a text parser, he was a text parser.

Can't you do something about that rumble pack notice? Like say, add the rumble pack?
I think, if that was done, the game would ask the player to remove the rumble pack to insert the memory card. Roads? Where I go, there is no road. Those menus are terrible, but the tracks are done SO fast.

Weatherton, glad to hear MK64 is getting TASed. This run needs a table of how fast each track was. Then any new run (assuming this gets accepted) would have to set faster times for those tracks.

So, Majora's Mask will not desync anymore? Because if that's the case, then Wootz!

I can't load N64 games. Bizhawk throws an exception every time I try to do so. This has persisted even after compiling the latest source (as of writing, SVN4386).
I didn't know that Bizhawk did N64 games yet. There was talk about adding a core (support) for it but nothing was done yet last I checked.

I watched the Hydro Thunder run a while back. Crazy abuse of the physics.

I tried and failed a while back. I say it gets about half way through the run before it desyncs.

Me, I say take full advantage of any trick. Make that game suffer. The Chrono Trigger run that abused subframes is a good example of inhuman play. NO human can accurately do that. If it can be reproduced, it should be considered valid unless proven to be a fault of emulation error.

F-Zero GX. AGDQ Spring 2013's run was AWESOME. We need to see how a TAS will dominate harder then Yoshifan did.

And Mario has done more damage to his game then Megaman did back in Megaman 1. Well done. Mario, king of breaking programmer's code. Sonic demands a new trick or he's leaving. DUH vote. There's that option right?

I would prefer a No Damage run at the cost of speed. It looks better since the TAS player still has the inhuman reactions the Real Time can not replicate.

I don't know how these games are supposed to be run or not run. But, it does stuff, things die. Day is saved. Guess that's a yes.

SHUT UP Ashley! We get it. OK?! God. Loved the wrecking ball of death and destruction. What? I should move away? But he's right there. I can get him. Oh, wait, I am dead because I didn't move away.

Don't get excited yet. Nintendo did this before. They put Earthbound through the ESRB for the Wii VC and it was NEVER released.

Some things I know about optimizing this game: The boss won't load until the area is cleared (see towards the end of the Pacifist encode for this). The horse allows me to take three hits, but it also needs to walk on screen (causing everything else to pause) and also causes MASSIVE flashing/flickering. The bosses can use optimization. LUA possible? Anyone up for that? Otherwise the game scrolls normally until the boss area is reached. Other guns can be purchased but I won't need them. Getting them takes time. Game rules: Player must get the wanted poster to face the boss. It's hidden in each stage. You can also buy it for 2X the boss's bounty (reward). After the final boss is beaten, the credits roll and the game loops over. Other things TVTropes says this game in Nintendo Hard. I can beat it unassisted.

I have to ask, is there any other version of Snes9x older then then 1.43 that allowed movie recording? I want to make sure that clever users can't use an older version of Snes9x.

Disable Rewind. That should help the FPS.
