On the interim build, it appears MGBA core is broken, and no savestates will load. Making a savestate, then loading it back gives "Loadstate error!" This was working on 1.11.7 however.
This is expected. Interim Builds are subject to breaking any/all features. The long answer, is mGBA Core is being updated so, that's to be expected.

It does. The movie system id and the loaded platform must be: null. Record a movie without opening a ROM file, first unhandled exception occurs. Then play that movie file without opening a ROM file, second unhandled exception occurs. The grayed out "Movie" menu can be accessed if the cursor is first moved to "Recent ROM", "AVI/WAV" or "Screenshot". Easy fix: ensure the disabled menu item stays disabled.
I checked it again, Movie is disabled until a ROM is loaded and the core is Not Null. This bug was fixed a while ago.

That, shouldn't happen, ever. Unless you somehow got BizHawk to break and partially load or think it loaded a core.
That is actually simple: just go on File > AVI/WAV and then on Movie. Should I record a gif? another minor bug: In the RAM Watch window, when I press "Clear Change Counts" (the "C" button on the toolbar) the change count does not clear until I click on the main window. Probably a redraw bug.

I have several Game Boy Color ROMs that refuse to load in BizHawk 1.11.5 (yeah, screw me for not updating the emulator), and they are: - Just about anything published by Rocket Games (all unlicensed) - Net de Get: Minigame @ 100 - Painter (unlicensed; I don't know the region of this one) Why they don't run is beyond me. Maybe one of these ROMs uses an addon or two that the Gambatte core doesn't support? Or maybe Gambatte doesn't like some of these games? Who knows? Oh, and there's apparently a bug running around in the GBC version of Wario Land II--the game has a habit of freezing every now and then when you're jumping around on top of the train in two levels.
These errors may be due to the Gambatte core. Not much we can do about that except for checking and putting in an updated Gambatte version or replacing it with a different core all together. Both, take time to do.

Nope nothing as far as I am aware.

Probably not. BizHawk uses a LOT of 3rd party DLL files to accomplish things.

For some reason Windows Defender is throwing a fit with the ffmpeg binary included with 1.11.7. I'm sure it's probably a false positive, but just to be sure, which build is it supposed to be?
Can you post what Windows Defender is saying?

That's the Tilt Sensor, probably. Or the light sensor. I don't remember if you can disable showing that text.

It seems like you have the right fimware. The ROM file is probably in cause of the issues here. The Hash is not correct or it's some hacked/modded ROM file.

It's not related to interim builds at all.
I try and check the Interim builds to ensure that the bug exists or doesn't exist. Since those interim builds will eventually become a release build for everyone.

I'm considering buying a faster processor for better performance on sneshawk. But first I'd like to know if it's really worthy it. I currently have an Intel Core i5 3330 3.00GHz. Sneshawk already runs at 60fps with it, and the unthrottled speed is 120fps (2x faster). Snes9x 1.53 on other hand, goes up to 1200fps while unthrottled (20x faster). If I switch my processor to an Intel Core i7 6700k 4.00GHz, will sneshawk's unthrottled speed increase significantly? If it reaches something like snes9x 1.53 levels, then it's certainly worthy buying it. But if it just gives a small speed up, then I'd probably not bother with it. Can anyone say how high the unthrottled speed would be more or less?
Snes9x is inaccurate, so of course it WILL be faster then the BSNES Core (Either). No matter what your CPU is. In theory, a faster CPU will help. More Cores (CPU), will not really help.

Good luck with the syncing, Alyosha. By the way, will the updated (98% accurate) neshawk core be available on the next BizHawk release? :) I want to do a few movies but I'd rather wait until the core gets updated.
It should be in the next release pending nothing is outright wrong.

There are hacked ROMs that let you use the controller instead of the Super Scope.

This may be unrelated, but do any of these tests correlate with how accurate lag emulation is or could something like this only be really tested by comparing movie files on nesbot and on emu?
In theory, the more accurate the NESHawk core gets, the more likely NESBot will be able to playback more TAS. However, the TAS MUST be done on the Changed and Improved NESHawk core. Old TAS will still Desync/not work.

which file are you even inspecting in dependency walker? we'll never debug it this way. If you can't spot it immediately, it's a waste of time. Try installing the installers individually: https://github.com/TASVideos/BizHawk-Prereqs/tree/master/dist
the installers individually will just, again, ask to repair or uninstall, which I did countless times... also I was inspecting EmuHawk.exe. some other information I have is, that my Windows 7 is probably not completely updated. Not so long ago I installed it from what probably was the very first Windows 7 release, and ever since, I've been installing the several updates that were needed, including Service Pack 1. Right now, I still have updates to install, though I already got that one update that adds the "Get Windows 10" icon to the taskbar. I don't know if BizHawk needs something from Windows Updates after that one, so, I'd like to know if BizHawk actually needs them... And additionally, if BizHawk needs to use a specific driver that I possibly haven't installed yet, let me know...
It may be you need to Update your Windows 7 more. Sometimes Microsoft releases updates for Visual C++

Which IT didn't work? That doesn't help me understand what is going on. Does BizHawk run after the Repair of the C++ Installer?
