https://www.dropbox.com/s/65xffhzhwh7rhpp/jlun2%20%20Scooby-Doo%20Input%20Log.7z?dl=0 The Input Log appears to be valid. Though it is different from the old format but it appears to make sense and isn't corrupted.

I just used 7-Zip 15.14 [64-Bit] on that file. It opened for me.

Ok I looked into compiling Bizhawk so now I can test the latest build for bugs. outdated About info When opening Help > About, it brings up that one joke screen with flashy animations. In the top left corner is a "BizBox" button (for some reason) which brings up a real About window. But that window tells it's 1.11.4 from December 20 2015.
This has been corrected in: https://github.com/TASVideos/BizHawk/commit/c575328350aa2a386448fc838fe5bf0cb055525e Though, this isn't that bad off persay. As Developer Builds does NOT use that file for actual releases.

Try opening the TASProj file in 7-Zip. Look for Input Log.txt

Games with a Kill Screen are considered a "Game Over" screen. Or an end of game. I think most MMORPGs would be "TAS-Proof" since they rely on communication with a server. Yes, you could use external tools like bots to play the game, but that's not allowed by the game's own TOS. And, emulated servers are not perfect/accurate.

Occasionally I see users come onto #bizhawk looking for help. Usually from the Web IRC client. Here's how to get help when using #bizhawk Join the channel. That's pretty simple. Ask a question that matters. Something like, "Is anyone here?" Is not useful. Something like, "bizHawk gives me an error message when I do..." Is better. Give as many details as you can. What version(s) have this problem? Have you updated your BizHawk lately? What ROM(s) cause this problem? Have you verified they are good dumps? What Core(s) have this problem? Remember, that most of the time, people on #bizhawk are idling. But asking a useful question and waiting for an answer, will help you get a good reply instead of frustration. Be patient when using the IRC chat. We aren't always around to answer questions. But asking a good question and waiting, will get you better results. Moderator Note: This topic is locked because it doesn't need replies.

The sun needs a publish. Not since Puyo Puyo Sun has the Sun been involved in a game.

I haven't worked on my TAS in months, but when I get back to it, I have all the notes so I can keep working on it and making it perfect. Time is not a factor. Effort is. Don't feel obligated to work on a TAS daily. It may cause you problems not solutions. Your results may vary.

Ok, so I figured out how to make mame work in Bizhawk, yeah , cothreads were a pain in the ass , but now is solved in my svn repository. When I find the instructions to upload my version to your repository you will have Mame working...ha ha ha
If you want to show us something real, link to your repository. Or show us where you forked BizHawk's code base on GitHub and made the changes, otherwise I doubt you did anything you said. This is because we don't want untested and unknown developers throwing code at the repository just because they say they can or did do something.

2. Well then, let me ask this. Is there a reason to not include an empty Firmwares folder in the distribution?
Auto Builder not working right. The Release manager failing to notice the Firmware folder was missing. Valid reasons, none.

So long as the TAS plays back properly, and it follows the site's rules, you are fine. The Analog Functions on the Virtual Pad, is a confirmed issue. It appears to be an issue with the right analog stick's Maximum and Minimum numeric Up and Down values.

Oh, i almost forgot, since i cant fit all my problems on the title, i have another thing The cheats needs a better handling, i tried to convert a gameshark code to use it with a PSX game, but goes like its not completed Example: Driver 2 (NTSX) v1.1 - Can exit from the car anytime D0055B7C 000A 80055B7E 1000 Convering them will result to this: D0055B7C 000A 80055B7E 0000 The cheats cant go more than 00FF at the end, this should be fixed
I made the code converter for BizHawk. I will look into this issue with those cheats later today (3/18). Do you know if those cheats work in other emulators? That is what I would want tested first. Do you know if the Disc works in other emulators?

Hi guys! I just have downloaded an svn update of the BizHawk 1.11.6 and compiling in Visual Studio works ok when selecting x86 , but when trying to compile in x64 compiling triggers an exception in library slimDX. Any idea? Thanks a lot!
Not a bug, BizHawk does not support x64 building.
I believe that a 64 Bit Version will be released, at some point in time in the future. But, don't count on it happening.

link and epona appear around frame 600 and the scene is approximately 50x more complex. but you say it's a blank frame? If you got to 600 with a lag counter of ~600, then game is malfunctioning. It should stop at 73. Solution: you have a garbage rom which is doing nothing for 600 frames and then going nuts. Find a rom that's not garbage.
To Confirm the ROM you are using is bad, note the Bottom Left of BizHawk. Does it show a Green Check Mark? Then it's a good ROM. If it's a Question Mark, it's unknown or possibly bad ROM.

I think Stella has it's own issues that no one wanted to deal with. Also, what is the SHA-1 of the ROM you used? What version of BizHawk did you use?

Version 1.11.6 has been released: http://tasvideos.org/Bizhawk/ReleaseHistory.html#Bizhawk1116 Major Changes: MGBA Savestates changed. Old Savestates do NOT work on this version. Less Important Changes: Various cores have Trace Logger support now. Updates/fixes to Debugger. Smaller fixes to TAStudio.

The roms I've tried come up as Unknown Rom, whereas SNES roms (for example), almost always come up as verified good dumps. Does Bizhawk have a list of good c64 roms (and their checksums), as it does for other formats?
That is due to the Game Database not existing for Commodore 64. I would probably be the one to generate a full Game Database and Hash list for all ROMs using a known proper/clean set. Though it would be delayed until the next release. Though Intrim builds should have it, when I get it done.

Manual Config files. Store Movies on Disk instead of RAM to allow Hours and hours of Movie recording. Window Zoom is now Per System. Multiline Cheats now work. Slide Code support added. Enjoy Fixed GBA cheat handling. GBA Code Breaker support not added, yet. TAStudio is much better now. Less buggy and should have less issues with "Out-of-Memory" crashing. Lua allows hot-reloading. Edit, and restart the LUA on the fly now. Added a color option to the text as well. NES: Better JAM/KIL support. PSX: Added Memory Callbacks and determine lag frame from GPU option. GBA: Updated mGBA to 0.4.0 Enjoy the fancy N64: Better defaults for DK64.

It's already configured, no need to be snarky. The emulator has that feature disabled for Sega CD and it doesn't look like you can enable it like with other cores, so I was asking if it was possible to do so through some method unknown to me.
The issue is how big the Sega CD Savestates are. That is why rewind was disabled.

Rewind can be enabled, but it may cause issues with RAM usage.

Gravity Falls is quite good. It starts a little slow then things got crazy (good fun). "Fighting children is boring. Fighting a Chaos God sounds like fun!" Archer is NOT for children, but the jokes are mostly verbal. And quite humorous. Rick and Morty is ABSOLUTELY NOT for Children. It's humor is based on playing with science and being fast and semi-loose with it.

Did you install it to Program Files? That would probably cause this issue.
