I had just opened this up to start doing test runs and research and checked to see that this is the most recently active topic. good to know there are others trying to tackle this one as well...

Thanks for moving this Feitclub. I spent some time over the weekend trying to get my dev environment into a workable state so I could build HuGo from scratch, but got trapped in dependency hell (argh). I will take another crack at it when I have some more free time (probably in a week or so, I hope).
ya i went through the same thing... let's get together soon and start hashing out a roadmap of sorts eh?

Dramas? Ha! They are documentaries! Every one of them! They're each a monument to the real lives of real heroes...Mario, Megaman, Samus.... ....and the events occured in REAL TIME!!!!!!!
Perfect! The market for Videogame Documentaries (VDs) is huge! Everyone will want as many VDs as we can create! Bisqwit will be all the more famous for creating something to spread VDs internationally!

maybe we could increase popularity by calling them "comedies" or maybe "dramas". I hope no other site has used those yet... I'd wanna watch a CM or a DM, regardless of the content just to see what it was. Then, after seeing Glass Joe get put down in record time, I'd be hooked and would stop caring what they were called altogether.

I'd love to take this project on, the problem is that MagicEngine is not open source, nor is it even freeware, so i doubt they'll hand over the source code to me so i can retool it for TAS... however, HUGO is open source, so I think I'll start working with that, probably will have a win32 version up first and then hit the osx port afterwards. I'm talking to Yarbles about working with me on this project.. Please note that I am super super busy with work right now, but I will try to make a little time each week to devote to making this happen, I really would like to get this up and going so we can start devastating some good ol tg-16 games.
