I admit that the fight is a little longer, but I did save a fire stone, which could be used against gremlin (had knight dropped the firestone while I used a firestone, it would have been about 150 frames shorter)

impossible. magic has higher priority than anything. the only that could do that is bo, and he's slower. unless i can find ultralight equipment...

puka can certainly maximize damage. But since puka has terrible defense (even ryu can only stand 2 goddess attacks); so Agni would probably be better against the goddess for tock tower : I use the road from a walktrough. I might have a look at your suggestion

However, around Auria, he might survive more to kill the dark dragon forces let Ox die more often don't go after the ultimate weapons. even with attack up, the emperor sword, the mallet and the hero bow don't do more than 150 damage against the last bosses try to work on vitality as suggested by mastania try to find shorcuts (if they exist) in the geyser field use the death warp more often

if you're talking about the dragon items, this could get hard. the lightning version does 100 more damage for its base damage

the coackroach fight is uncertain. Whenever i do too much damage, the round stops. and since I attack everyone with the boomerang, i think it's shorter for the crab : that should be tested

coordinating 2 consecutive critical attacks in this game is hard as hell. i might rework it in my other run and I'm not sure i understand your question about ox and shin...

i will get the first one (where he looks like bow), which seems a must againt slimex. but i don't think I will pursue the other ones according to a website, I can get the mallet by opening a trading post i tunlan. i thought it was only in prima?

Giving Ryu the Rang before that Spearman fight
if you talk about the fights after auria, it doesn't work. he does at most 60 damage with a critical hit. as for vigor : it's extremely hard to manipulate. i'm mainly looking for strength; i can only manipulate the outcome of whatever 3 statistics come in first. the rest stays the same
make some of them die, like Karn and Bo, so Nina gets more Exp to learn Warp and also saves time because you won't need to make them defend.
i need to figure out who need to stay alive first till the end.i need karn and bo at least until that fight with the fuse slimes

according to a FAQ i'm using, sandworm is dark elemental, so thunder is the better choice. I know I should have skipped the 130 damage, for the critical attack didn't come after 300 frames... mastania : your trick revealed to be 11 frames shorter. But had I succeeded my critical attacks, my manner would ahve been better. i might retry it, but I think that critical attacks for ryu only made 80 damage... plus he's slower than bo because of his equipment. plus, that's 100 less points than using a dragon.

it actually increases attack. critical attack is probably linked to luck

i doubt it would save time : ryu kills everyone by the 2nd turn (he is quicker than them).

I got into Windia 450 frames earlier. for the 12,5% HP trick : it seems to work only for the first round when I tried (for the second, the attacks were stronger when I tried)
