i was told it's not working on SNES...
however, I might have found a way to get more money. I read somewhere that when Bow hunts an animal, it drops something when the arrow is fired at the exact moment it jumps. I might look at that

I do have enough wise fruits (i get them all at simafort), but the dragon takes so much time. Although I could try it, at least for the first fight (for the second one, I would lose a round)

I will need to rework the movie. I think I can save time by doing my things with the bird rather than with the whale (I fish near township, after all). also, I will pick this medusa shield. After 10 rounds of fight against barubary, I can make at most 1980 damage, and that's if I'm lucky. plus, i will have everyone with attack up by the 2nd round against deathevn

saved nearly 800 frames from the previous improvment.
- I went to wildcat's once
- I finished the roach fight in 3 rounds (but considering the wait, i wonder if it did such a difference
- the first strech of the blue roach trial was the luckiest ever
In the long run, I might regret having ryu at such high level... I jsut hope he won't gain 2 levels before the portal, or it's going to be hell to give him MP...

going to wildcat only once will prove to be very difficult. his attacks are very hard to avoid; and I can't have anyone die if it's used after getting to simafort. I will try it later
there is always a delay after picking up 2 treasures in a row (or talking to the dragon god twice in a row)
and for the roach : i just couldn't have 4 critical hits in a row without someone dying

back to my favorite spot 1,4k frames earlier. major changes :
- I didn't get chop chop
- The blue roach trial wasn't as lucky
- I got lucky Katt countered the gold fly
- I saved one round of dragon against the roach.
- I tried to manipulate sleep attacks to reduce the number of actions
Against uparupa, I believe 2 rounds will be necessary. it counters every attack.

If I get a medicate for that fight (never mind the shield, I need the great dragon to nearly kill them), then I will save so much time. Even if it does 1/2 the damage, I believe I can save enough frames by attacking.

mmm... getting him is a detour. I thought I should get him on my way back to HOmetown. I wouldn't get that wisebl, but then what's the point? I will concentrate on attacks and not use the great dragon.
i will try to find the damage algorythm to know how much Katt can make with her bronze staff.
edit : Here are katt's stats at the start of simafort
strength : 53. The Bronze staff gives +25, so 78 offense. x2 = 156 attack at most.
against the worm : I could do around 150 damage. no need for chop chop, but Katt could only attack on the 2ns round; the worm counters attacks, and it uses many frames.
against the roach : 12 defense. I could save on dragon attacks...
against the fly : 65 defense. doable, but because of its agility and attack, it could be hard. Katt will need to be in front.
Kuwadora : 48 defense, same as the worm. I could save one round of attack vs chop-chop
uparupa: 65 defense. the only thing is, it counterattacks physical attacks. I would need 2 rounds...
I will put it to the test. it means I will have to redo the blue roach trial. damn...

I'm ready to attack BOF 2 again. I will bactrack to simafort, the only spot where I can buy baits without too much detour.
Now, for the attacks : I could always shop in Township. Someone sells medicates, which cast attack up. I have tested it : using an object uses less frames than its magic-casting equivalent. WOuld it be worth it?
