Before I say anything else, I must admit I don't have the answer to this problem :P A friend told me about this and I tried a little, but with no success. Warp: there's at least four ways :) But seriously, the way the problem was formulated seemed to indicate that there's just one solution for the square's perimeter. I could be wrong, though - here's the original problem (in french though). Randil: we don't officially know it's non-self-intersecting. We do know however that it's incribable in a square (see this), and that its sides are of length 223, 297, 228 and 296 in order (i.e. 223 and 228 are opposite sides of the quadrilateral).

A quadrilateral with sides of length 223, 297, 228 and 296 is inscribed inside a square. None of its angles is right. Find the perimeter of the square.

No doubt this level will be a highpoint in the TAS, I can't wait to see it! Thanks for the update!

Yes, that's quite an accomplishment right there!

If you can play like that all the time I don’t see what is stopping you from creating/joining some big band.
Perhaps because it took me many takes to record it decently? ;) Anyway, thanks!

This is beautiful, L-Spiro! Has Uha heard it yet? Here's a quick take of a bass solo in a groovy 7/4 track from Paul Gilbert's latest album. I know, it's definitely not perfect and I should a little look more happy to play :) Link to video

That's absolutely right. I'm guessing one reason we usually don't drag those conditions is that many equations based on real life situations don't have such mathematical singularities.

Or, another way to see it: (x/sqrt(x)) * (sqrt(x)/sqrt(x)) (x*sqrt(x))/(sqrt(x)*sqrt(x)) (x*sqrt(x))/x) sqrt(x)

Basically, look for NSFe's: it is an extended version of the NSF format, which notably allows track titles. Here's a few good NSFe sources; the first one has the Ninja Gaiden titled soundtracks: http://slickproductions.org/nsfe.php http://www.hotdogstorm.com/bucky/GameMusicArchives/NSFE_by_bucky/ http://megamatt.hotdogstorm.com/NSFE/

Thisis mind-boggling, crazy fast, contains just the right amount of WTF, and is just plainly awesome. This is surely gonna be my favorite TAS ever! Thanks for sharing the WIP and comments!

16.2% of the best real time run's length? Wow! I didn't expect it to be nearly short! Watching now, thanks and congrats!

Thank you for sharing Link's LSD trip with us. This would also explain his money constantly decreasing.

Is it me or the tag(s) seems to be entered incorrectly? It's as if it was one very long tag instead of multiple individual tags.

Interesting, I had heard about this tool, but didn't know it could compress better than optiPNG in some situations. I guess it's best to run both utilities to make sure images are optimized as much as possible. Speaking of file optimizations... Has anyone used jpegoptim a little? The optimization level is surprisingly good, so much that I'd wonder if it's really lossless. Perhaps there is an image decoder than can compare two images and tell if they're exactly the same?

Incredible! Nice find, I hadn't thought such a glitch would have existed in this game. I agree with your decision; while runs with a big WTF factor are interesting, it is more satisfying to see it destroyed "with bare hands".

Woopsie! Indeed, I missed that one, and the trick wasn't used in the warped version... Well, still looking forward to seeing more of your progress! :)
